      LOL, yes! Total fabric hogger and it's so good Lynette. Its a great pattern for summer and also to wear with a jacket to dress it up! But you do need the fabric sale on this one.

    Currently trying to make this and your video tutorial is a lifesaver! I'm a beginner and self taught, so I sometimes get a little confused about the notches, especially when I'm to connect the bodice to the skirt. The extra notces on the back of the bodice really trip me up.
    Thanks for this video!

      Thanks Clara! I have a Janome serger (I don't love it BUT )it does the job. Ive heard great things about the Brother 1034 D serger too and I believe it goes on sale on Walmart's website so keep an eye out for it. Here is a link from Brother's website. Sergers are awesome to finish those seams and give your clothes a professional look. www.brother-usa.com/products/1034d?ef_id=CjwKCAjw1JeJBhB9EiwAV612y_iWqgjGphag7SWhbil1_7r1nuyrO4WOnF9HbnPB0LTbYCw8vqeP7hoCgJ4QAvD_BwE:G:s&gclid=CjwKCAjw1JeJBhB9EiwAV612y_iWqgjGphag7SWhbil1_7r1nuyrO4WOnF9HbnPB0LTbYCw8vqeP7hoCgJ4QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

    I just bought this pattern and mine also has the wrong size band piece.

      What a bummer and two years later and they haven't fixed it! The good news is that it's one of those things that you can shorten or lengthen. If I were you (now that I've gone thru it) don't cut that pattern piece until you need it! IF You have some time, reach out to the folks at Simplicity.com to see if they can send you the correct pattern piece. They do reply and will send it to you!

    What size did you choose ?

    • @MassonLifestyle
      @MassonLifestyle  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Diana, I cut 22 but I took it in quite a bit on the sides of the bodice. I could have easily picked size 20.
