Great job! The dress looks lovely on you. I also love how you improvise patterns and it’s why I enjoy watching your “sew with me” videos! Your tips are invaluable. Thank you for sharing!

I have your videos on my big screen in my great room as I'm cutting batting rows for my t-shirt quilt tonight. You're life-sized & it really feels like I have a friend sewing with me. 😁 I love the way that you follow along with the patterns and teach people how to sew by following directions.

Oh! this makes me so happy! When starting this I was hoping to find a creative community who loves to share. I hope we get to sew together a lot! 💗💖

You're so sweet and positive! I've been enjoying surplice necklines quite a bit lately, and as a person with a large bust, I definitely understand the desire to sew the overlap in place. I often put tiny safety pins in my surplice tops and just - never remove them.

Thank you! Ive been a life long safety pin user too. What a wonderful little invention!

I always like hearing how and why you deviate from the written instructions. Love polka dots, but I don't have nearly as many as you!!

I may have tipped the dot scale a bit to far... 😉

I love this, going to look for pattern now. Then I’m going to Joann’s for polka dot . Thanks! Found pattern on Amazon:) this is my second edit. Just want to say I’ve never spent this much on a commercial pattern. I always wait till they’re on sale for $.99 or $1.99 at Joann’s. But the dress looks so good on you I need it!

Love it! It definitely has a vintage vibe especially with the polka dots! I love dots too! Where do you find most of your fabric?

Thank you! I thought it had a bit of a vintage vibe too. I buy quite a bit from fabric.com, JoAnn Fabrics, and through Etsy sellers.
