  • According to Jewish tradition, Gulgolet was a place outside Jerusalem where the skull of Adam was buried. According to the biblical narrative, Golgotha is the place of Jesus torment, where the Romans murdered Christ through crucifixion. I invite you to a presentation of the site.

Nope, jesus is g-d or messiah. Besides, g-d stated he alone is our redeemer and he doesnt share his glory with anyone and he is not a man that he will change his mind. Also nowhere in Hebrew scripture does it mention the Messiah and i mean real Messiah being divine or dying and returning a second time to finish nor does Hebrew scripture mention virgin birth or man gods and to top it off to call jesus the sacrificial lamb that was killed to take away the sins of the world is a complete heresy. This concept was popular in pagan culture though. G-d declares human sacrifice an abomination so proclaiming jesus the sacrificial lamb is not only heresy its claiming that g-d likes human sacrifice and adding and taking away from the word of g-d is a prohibition in the tanach which xtians ave a distorted version of it but i know for sure it states the above prohibition but yet xtians claim things that g-d never declared. Id say that a deliberate action of not wanting to know HaShem.

@@cmain3931 Shalom, dear friend! It's interesting that you say He is God OR Messiah. According to Scripture, He is One and the same - please see Isaiah 60:16 and 43:11 ... "Then you will know that I, YHWH, am your Savior, your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob... I, even I, am YHWH and apart from Me there is no Savior." Who COULD save us, but God alone? Even the best of us could save only himself - Ezekiel 14:14 ... "these three men-Noah, Daniel and Job-were in it, they could save only themselves by their righteousness, declares the Sovereign YHWH."
So it appears that Yeshua is the fleshly manifestation of the Deity. This is supported by Scripture - Zechariah 13:7 “Awake, sword, against My Shepherd, against My Associate (or) the Man (gever in the Hebrew - meaning valiant One) Who is close to Me!” declares YHWH Almighty. Examining the word "associate" or "fellow" in this verse, which is עָמִית - (the English tansliteration is "ameeth") reveals this "shepherd" to be God's peer/associate/fellow. So, yes, while Numbers 23:19 does say that God is not a man, one must put this in perspective since Exodus 15:3 says that He is a MAN of war, and both instances use "ish" in the Hebrew.
His Hebrew name is given many, many times in the Scriptures - Jacob says, "I have waited for thy Yeshua (Salvation)..." in Gen 49:18, David says, "I will rejoice in Your Yeshua..." Psalm 9:14. Here are just a few more that you can check in the Hebrew for yourself - Isaiah 53:12, 12:2,3, 62:11, Habakuk 3:13.
This elucidates the reason for both first and third person pronouns being used in reference to Him in Zechariah 12:10 "“...They will look on Me, the One they have pierced, and they will mourn for Him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for Him as one grieves for a firstborn son."
Please, dear friend, heed God's exhortation in Psalm 2:12
"Kiss His Son, or He will be angry
and your way will lead to your destruction,
for His wrath can flare up in a moment.
Blessed are all who take refuge in Him."

Where's the hill? I've been to another site that's believed to be Golgotha. It's a small hill right outside the walls where they've built a parking place. Beside it there's a garden with a tomb where supposedly Mary thought Jesus was the gardener. Looked pretty convincing to me (at least more than any other site). The Brits still own the place. This raises question of the location of the garden of Eden. The garden was located at no other site, then Jerusalem. The fact that Adam's skull was where Christ was crucified, can only suggest Adam and his decadents lived outside the garden. Yes, they were barred from going back. But they lived outside. One day, when the Lord returns, humanity will return to the garden and eat this time from the tree of life. The Tree of life is no other the embodiment of Christ.

I believe the Garden of Gethsemane is where the Garden of Eden was. It is the Garden of Torah, where Yeshua often went with His disciples to teach them the Law of God. It is the Garden where man betrayed God in the beginning and it is the Garden where Judas betrayed Yeshua. Yeshua is the Tree of Life in the center of the Garden. Man does not live by anything but God's Word, His Son.

Shalom! As our dear brother says, Jewish tradition indicates it was a place outside Jerusalem, and the site he presents here is one of some possible locations. It's worthwhile to pursue an understanding of what gave rise to the name "Golgotha." We could see the traditional view of David bringing Goliath's head to Jerusalem (another idea from Jewish tradition) as a foreshadow of Yeshua defeating the enemy there.
It's interesting that GOLyath's name (1555 in Strong's) means "splendor" perhaps from 1540 = galah (to uncover, remove, depart, go into exile, reveal, be revealed... denude- esp. in a disgraceful sense, by implication to exile - captives usually being stripped). Thus, what he would perpetrate on others happens instead to him in this word play, and thus he is called "splendor" in a sarcastic way.
Also from Strong's, gulgoleth (1538) means "skull" - as "round" by implication a head (in enumeration of persons), poll, skull. By reduplication, from 1556 galal= to roll, roll away, roll down... wallow, lay wallowing. This brings to mind a skull rolling in dirt.
Interestingly, in Gen. 29:8, Jacob rolled (galal) the stone away from the well for Rachel, but even more meaningful are the connections in Joshua 5:9! God says that He has "rolled away (galal) the reproach of Egypt" from Israel - at Gilgal!

I haven't been to Yisrael, I am from a very distant land from the far east..
But I can definitely say that that is not the place of the skull.. That is not Golgotha..
I will not say much, but search Ron Wyatt and his testimonies and discoveries.. If you do not believe him, at least believe the evidences of his work.. HalleluYah, praise be to the Almighty Father, through the Blood and Name of His Son, Yeshua our Messiah.. Amen..

Where was Jesus crucified. Was it on a hill far-away like the song says? No Our Lord Jesus was not even crucified on a hill because there was not one matching the Biblical description for the place of the crucifixion. Jesus was crucified on a mountain. The name of the mountain is Mount Moriah, the same mountain where God told Abraham to scarifies his son and likely the same place. Genesis 22: 8 And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself The Lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together. Abraham did not have to sacrificed his son, because God sacrificed HIS SON. Abraham brought his son on a donkey and Our God did bring His Son on a Donkey.
We mostly see a hilltop with 3 crosses. The cross in the middle usually taller.
The place of Jesus’s crucifixion would have to have been located outside the city in accordance with Roman and Jewish customs of the time. The Gospels, too, seem to suggest that Jesus was crucified outside of the city
Matthew 27: 39 And those who passed by blasphemed Him, wagging their heads 40 and saying, “You who destroy the temple and build it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross.”
(Hebrews 13:11-14) The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the camp. And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood. Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace that He bore. For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the City that is to come (Hebrews 13:11-14).
The place of the Crucifixion has been outside Jerusalem called Golgotha, as the Bible tells us, which in Aramaic means “PLACE OF THE SKULL.” The Latin word for skull is Calvaria, The Bible refer to this as site of the crucifixion. Jesus or Simon of Cyrene could never have carried a big piece of wood up to a hill, and a crowd could not have gathered there.
Where than was it? Read 1 Samuel 17: 53 And the children of Israel returned from chasing after the Philistines, and they spoiled their tents. 54 And David took the head of the Philistine, and brought it to Jerusalem; but he put his armour in his tent.
David a 17 or 18 year old boy walked a day about 40 KM and carried the scull of Goliath. He placed it outside the city. David would not have been allowed in the city with the scull. It must have been on a pole or something solid or maybe buried. This place was known to the people as a place of a Scull, maybe called by David after he took the City of Jerusalem. This was the providence of God Our Lord. God did not let David a days journey without a purpose.
Criminals were crucified outside the city wall and not carried on a long distance. Where Jesus was crucified must have been a place where a crowd could gather and people pass by, most likely on their way to the gate. The wall of Jerusalem was behind Him, which made it possible for the people to hear Him speak. There was not a little sign at the Cross but big letters on the wall of Jerusalem 37 And they put up over His head the accusation written against Him: THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. Jesus feet must have been not farther from the ground as 3 feet to be able to speak to His Mother and the Disciples. All 3 crosses were the same size. We can conclude from this that: “Place Of A scull” must be where David placed the Scull of Goliath. I personally belief that it was still there and was crushed. Some think that it was under the cross or by the thunder so that it signified God’s Word Genesis 3:15, And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your HEAD, And you shall bruise His heel.”

Hear is a news flash for you. The Roman's did not murder Jesus.
    Nor did the Jews.
If you want to know who is responsible for his death just look in the mirror. All have sinned we all lie and cheet. Jesus came to die for us all. It had to happen. Thete was no other way.
Jesus was always in control of the entire affair. He blamed no one. He fulfilled God's will. He did it for you and me.
    There was no murder.

How about the two deaths of our savior. Look to your New Testament, and you will find that your Jesus Christ is positively declared to have been crucified twice. Because the Sun, having crossed the Equatorial line, at the Equinoctial point in Spring, when he ascended into Heaven, must cross it again, at the Equinoctial point in Autumn, when he descended into Hell. As in Revelations, 11.8, the same St. John, who had taught that Jesus Christ was crucified on Mount Calvary, in Judea, as positively asserts, that he was also crucified in Egypt, in those words, 'and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.' And so, St Paul, preaching Jesus Christ, and him crucified, when he tells us that he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, explains himself by adding to those words, 'obedient unto death,' even the death of the cross; that is, you see, no death at all; only such a mystical and metaphysical sort of death as the Sun dies, when he crosses the Equator. For had it been in right earnest, - had there been any real, downright dying and going dead in the matter, there would have been a dead end both of our blessed Savior and our blessed Salvation too; and we should never have seen the Sun again.
