1. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is located about 450 yards (415 m.) west of the Temple Mount.
2. It was located outside the city walls during the time of Christ.
3. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is the believed place where Christ was crucified, buried, and rose from the dead.
4. It is the ending place to the Via Dolorosa path, and the last 5 stations are located at it.
5. It is visited by over a million people every year.
Places of Interest
1. The Chapel of the Franks (Station 10 of the Via Dolorosa) is located at the right of the entrance to the church.
2. A stairway on the right, just inside the entrance leads to Calvary (or Golgotha), the place where Jesus was crucified.
3. Chapel of the Nailing of the Cross (Station 11). It features a 12th-century mosaic of Jesus being nailed to the cross.
4. The Greek Orthodox Calvary contains the believed Rock of Calvary around which the church was built. The rock can be seen under a glass cover on either side of the main altar. Beneath the altar is a hole that permits people to touch the rock.
5. The Crucifixion Altar marks the place where Christ was crucified (Station 12). A silver disk with a central hole that lies underneath the altar marks the place where the Cross stood.
6. The Stone of Unction (Station 13), located just after entering the church, commemorates the preparation of Jesus' body for burial. Behind the Stone is a mosaic depicting Christ's anointing for burial.
7. Underneath the large dome of the church is the Tomb of Christ itself (Station 14). It is housed in a large shrine and is referred to as the Edicule. It is supported by scaffolding on the outside to protect it from possible earthquakes.
8. The Chapel of Adam enshrines a cracked slab of rock behind glass which is believed to have been caused by the earthquake after Christ died on the Cross.
9. The Catholicon (Greek Orthodox cathedral) area was the main part of the Crusader church.
10. Armenian Shrine and Chapel of the 3 Marys, also known as the Mourning place. It marks the place where they watched the crucifixion of Christ. John 19:25: Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.
11. The heart of the Holy Sepulchre is a large round hall, otherwise known as the Rotunda. In the center of the Rotunda is the tomb of Jesus.
12. In 2016 an archaeological team was given permission to lift the marble slate covering the tomb and found under it an older marble slab with a carved cross on it and underneath it the original limestone burial bed.
13. The Coptic Chapel is located behind the tomb of Jesus.
14. The Jacobite (Syrian) Chapel is located in the original 4th century Constantine church walls. Within this chapel are burial tombs, one of which is believed to be that of Joseph of Arimathea.
15. Chapel of Mary Magdalene. Dedicated to the encounter Christ had with Mary after His resurrection.
16. Franciscan Church of the Aspiration of Mary. Dedicated to the meeting between Christ and His mother, Mary, at Christ’s crucifixion.
17. Arches of the Virgin Mary
18. Greek Orthodox Chapel of the Prison of Jesus
19. St Longinus Chapel. Longinus was the believed Roman Centurion who commanded the soldiers that stood watch at Golgotha. He was an eyewitness of the final moments of Jesus and proclaimed the Jesus was truly the Son of God.
20. Chapel of St. James
21. Chapel of John the Baptist
22. Division of the Holy Robes. The place commemorating the dividing of Christ’s clothing.
23. Derision chapel. This place commemorates how the mob derided Jesus by mocking and laughing at him while He hung on the Cross.
24. Armenian Chapel of St. Helena. Within this area is the Chapel of the Invention (discovery) of the Cross of Jesus.
25. Rock of Golgotha enclosed in glass.

The church of the Holy Sepulchure is not on Mount Moriah and there not the site of the DBR. Abraham was told to offer Issac on Mount Moriah. David was told to buy the threshing floor on Mount Moriah. The place of the skull is on the highest and most northern point of Mount Moriah.

Now let's touch on a few more lies about the world you live in. A simple Lighthouse proves there is no curvature, NASA says 66 feet of curvature at 10 miles, 6666 feet of curvature at a hundred miles, how can a 70 foot Lighthouse be seen for 30 or 40 miles, Google it. The stature Liberty is 300 ft tall and it can be seen for 60 to 70 miles at 60 miles it would be under over 2,000 feet of curvature. Water is always level, it doesn't bend. It can't be round guys, no matter how much you want it to be, because you've been taught that. It's a LIE, and if they can make you believe a lie that big, what else do you believe. Again we see rejection without investigation is the epitome of ignorance. But when we present Truth. We are ridiculed. So when you mention, The firmament, or the flat Earth, your instantly A nutcase, when in actuality, they have the disorder of Cognitive Dissonance. And most everyone suffers from cognitive dissonance. Please look it up.
Now let's take the cross, he wasn't hung a cross, The cross is a 4000 year old death symbol, for the sun god Tammuz. He was hung on an almond tree ,on the mount of olives. A sacrifice, is not a sacrifice, unless it's done on an altar, a Roman cross is not a alter.
How about the Rapture, You cannot read scripture, and believe there's a rapture, one verse kills the whole thing. 2nd Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall be destroyed with intense heat, and the Earth, and its works there in Shall be burned up. I mean on his 2nd return, the heavens and the Earth are destroyed, where do all the Left Behind people live? Again the wheat and the tares grow together, until the end, read scripture for yourself. The rapture doctrine was invented in 1831 by a man named John Nelson Darby, look it up. The enemy doesn't want you prepared for what's coming.
I could go on for days, because everything in this existence is upside down, And backwards. Stop and return to your childhood, and reprogram yourself, with your own knowledge.

False religions do not believe Jesus is fully God and possesses complete deity. They reduce Him to someone created, non-eternal, a good man, a good prophet, a great teacher, a small god, and so forth. So, it all comes down to what a religion believes about Jesus.
Jesus claimed to be much more than a good man, a great prophet, teacher, etc. He claimed to be God in the flesh, Eternal Father, Mighty God, God with us, the Son of God, the Great I AM, and the Messiah.
There are three options available regarding who Christ is:
1. He was indeed who He claimed to be, God in the flesh.
2. He was a liar because He claimed to be God in the flesh but wasn’t.
3. He was a lunatic who was out of His mind because He believed He was God but wasn’t.
If, as all false religions claim, Jesus is not fully God, then according to them, He would have to be the greatest liar that ever existed, or a lunatic who was out of His mind because He claimed to be God in the flesh but wasn’t. And if He was a liar and lunatic, then He can’t also be a good man, great teacher, prophet, and so forth. It can’t be both ways, Christ can’t be a liar and a lunatic, and a good person at the same time. Therefore, the only viable option is that Christ was indeed who He said He was, God in the flesh who dwelt among us.
Following are a few verses to equip you in defending the deity of Christ:
John 1:1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14: And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 5:18: For this cause, therefore, the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.
John 8:58: Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM.”
This proclamation of Christ is a quote from Exodus 3:14:
And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, Thus, you shall say to the sons of Israel, “I AM has sent me to you.”
This statement was so offensive to the religious leaders that they picked up stones in an attempt to kill Jesus:
John 10:30-33: “I and the Father are one.” 31 The Jews took up stones again to stone Him. 32 Jesus answered them, “I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me?” 33 The Jews answered Him, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God.”
John 20:28: Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”
Colossians 2:9: For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form.
Philippians 2:9-11: Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Hebrews 1:8: But of the Son He says, “Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever, and the righteous scepter is the scepter of His kingdom.” This is a quote from Psalm 45:6.
Isaiah 9:6: For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
Jesus was also prayed to, worshiped, and performed every class of miracle to show He was Lord over every aspect of creation:
• Jesus healed all kinds of sickness.
• Jesus had power over the demons and the demonic world.
• Jesus had power over the weather and calmed the sea.
• Jesus had power over nature - He cursed a fig tree, and it died.
• Jesus had power over animals - He cast demons into a herd of swine, performed miraculous catches of fish, and rode into Jerusalem on an untamed donkey.
• Jesus had power over food - He fed 5,000 and 4,000 people on different occasions.
• Jesus had power over death - He raised several people from the dead and rose from the dead Himself.
• Jesus had authority to forgive sins.
Again, if Jesus is not who He claimed to be, then He would only be a liar or a lunatic and not worthy to pay the penalty and consequences of our sins. This, in turn, would leave everyone unforgiven and lost in their sins.

This is absolutely breathtaking!
Your videos are well made, but this did not convince me att all, because there are so many details angled with a complete different view of what is truly "christian" and not.
* If it says "Near the city" it does not mean it had to be right outside the old walls of the city.
* I am interested in why you use the less common used name "Calvary" instead of "Golgatha" i.e. "Place of The Skull". Calvary only appears in certain (few) translations and only in one of the Gospels, (Luke 23:33) .
* I believe Ron Wyatt's story to be more convincing though.
* Was it not Constantine's mother Helena who also put the mountain of Sinai in the traditional place instead of in the land of Midian (Saud Arabia). Some of these "Churches" are the most religious sites mostly influenced by the Catholic church. I have a hard time believing that this was what our Lord meant when he said "Keep my Commandments".
* Constantin took what he believed to be christian and put it in pagan worship places and also covered up their most important pagan holy days and replacing them with made up so called "christian holy days". One of them being Christmas, which is not and never will be the day of birth of the Messiah but rather Nimrod alongside many other deified characters. This is also a result of living by a completely different calendar, using the Julian/Gregorian calendar instead of the Hebrew calendar and also keeping the Holy Days of the Lord = YHWH's Feast Days (not the Jewish feasts, as some translations shorten it to be). By this, and more, I question Constantine's and Helenas deeds.
If you lok att how YHWH reacted when Aaron and the rest of the Israelites built the Golden Calf to have a feast for YHWH (it is in the text), you'll see that He wants to be worshipped the way He said it should be done. Not the way we think it should be done. We do not change His order, neither do we call anything holy that is not made holy by Him.
There is so much more you can add to this that is straight up wrong. Talk about making up history. IT does not matter one bit what certain persons have done to keep a place intact, how much goodwill there has ever been behind it, if the place is not the real crucifiction site nor burial site of Yeshua Hamashiach = Jesus Christ.
You who read this, must have the attitude of the jews in Acts 17:11, and be more eager to find out what is true.

“While we might not agree with all of the decorations and atmosphere…” Watching this I wondered what denomination this person is. What THAT statement, it was made clear. Why wouldnt you agree with the decorations and atmosphere??? This is the place where Salvation was given. This is the place where the greatest act of TRUE LOVE, was committed. Why wouldn’t you want it to be adorned, and decorated beautifully??? If protestant churches had say, everything would be taken down and it would be an empty building with a stage. The court yard would have BBQ grills and vollyball nets. The calvary would be a place to sit and talk with lawn chairs. Thank The Lord, the true faiths have not given the protestant churches a piece of the pie. Keep this most Holy Site protected from becoming a banquet hall and “Summer camp” site.

False religions do not believe Jesus is fully God and possesses complete deity. They reduce Him to someone created, non-eternal, a good man, a good prophet, a great teacher, a small god, and so forth. So, it all comes down to what a religion believes about Jesus.
Jesus claimed to be much more than a good man, a great prophet, teacher, etc. He claimed to be God in the flesh, Eternal Father, Mighty God, God with us, the Son of God, the Great I AM, and the Messiah.
There are three options available regarding who Christ is:
1. He was indeed who He claimed to be, God in the flesh.
2. He was a liar because He claimed to be God in the flesh but wasn’t.
3. He was a lunatic who was out of His mind because He believed He was God but wasn’t.
If, as all false religions claim, Jesus is not fully God, then according to them, He would have to be the greatest liar that ever existed, or a lunatic who was out of His mind because He claimed to be God in the flesh but wasn’t. And if He was a liar and lunatic, then He can’t also be a good man, great teacher, prophet, and so forth. It can’t be both ways, Christ can’t be a liar and a lunatic, and a good person at the same time. Therefore, the only viable option is that Christ was indeed who He said He was, God in the flesh who dwelt among us.
Following are a few verses to equip you in defending the deity of Christ:
John 1:1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14: And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 5:18: For this cause, therefore, the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.
John 8:58: Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM.”
This proclamation of Christ is a quote from Exodus 3:14:
And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, Thus, you shall say to the sons of Israel, “I AM has sent me to you.”
This statement was so offensive to the religious leaders that they picked up stones in an attempt to kill Jesus:
John 10:30-33: “I and the Father are one.” 31 The Jews took up stones again to stone Him. 32 Jesus answered them, “I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me?” 33 The Jews answered Him, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God.”
John 20:28: Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”
Colossians 2:9: For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form.
Philippians 2:9-11: Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Hebrews 1:8: But of the Son He says, “Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever, and the righteous scepter is the scepter of His kingdom.” This is a quote from Psalm 45:6.
Isaiah 9:6: For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
Jesus was also prayed to, worshiped, and performed every class of miracle to show He was Lord over every aspect of creation:
• Jesus healed all kinds of sickness.
• Jesus had power over the demons and the demonic world.
• Jesus had power over the weather and calmed the sea.
• Jesus had power over nature - He cursed a fig tree, and it died.
• Jesus had power over animals - He cast demons into a herd of swine, performed miraculous catches of fish, and rode into Jerusalem on an untamed donkey.
• Jesus had power over food - He fed 5,000 and 4,000 people on different occasions.
• Jesus had power over death - He raised several people from the dead and rose from the dead Himself.
• Jesus had authority to forgive sins.
Again, if Jesus is not who He claimed to be, then He would only be a liar or a lunatic and not worthy to pay the penalty and consequences of our sins. This, in turn, would leave everyone unforgiven and lost in their sins.

Hi , there is much debate over this and If I recall correctly from visiting the Garden Tomb, it also faces east , and also it was outside the original city walls also , and I remember looking at the obvious skull shaped rock face in the garden there , also there is a wine press excavated there , on our you tube is what we filmed there , and what the english tour guide said is recorded and filmed. The Catholic Church think all the places they mark , are the " actual " biblical places ... again there is much debate , where Mary mother of Jesus was buried for instance
I remember our guide at Garden tomb saying at one point what on earth is a big marble slab doing there ? at this place your showing here , catholic icons are all over the place , and we aint sure on bit on ANYTHING they will say .
We had an averse effect when we where supposedly at the heavily catholic place where they bend down and kiss the red sun disc , also we had a adverse strange effect at the alleged Tomb of The Virgin Mary
Where the Tomb is is Not a salvation issue so we must agree to disagree agreeably :)

Thanks for sharing. I have nothing against the Garden Tomb, and really admire the attitude they all have there. They are truly servants of the Lord. However, you don't have the archaeological evidence of any buildings being there that were built my Hadrian, Constantine, and others. The eyewitness accounts and the evidence overwhelmingly supports the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. That doesn't mean I support in any way Catholicism, or the things that take place there, or the atmosphere in the church. I'm just looking at the pure evidence and it strongly leads me to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
I love most of HolyLandSite videos, but this one not so much. I tend to agree with you Purefire, for your reasons and other reasons that I have learned over the years. Just as I don't think the original Temple was where the Dome of the Rock now resides.

Other than what we saw and felt in the Garden tomb , and our feelings are the ones personal to us , as they are to any other but it just felt electric and serene and Holy and where what they where :) Many have claimed to get the gift of sight back and other healing just by going there, I'm sure many will say the same of the The Church of The Holy Sepulchre , I dont know ( I hope so )
Though Jesus is always in the Business of miracles , but we dont need to at a religious site for those to happen , I can attest to that by faith in the Blood of Jesus my 91 year old mums cervical cancer , was diagnosed December 2019, just after covid , and her faith healed her of that , she has nothing from that anymore no pain no bleeding nothing at age 92 now, Praise God is as fit as a fiddle :) Its lovely nearing about miracles !! and I have many of own when I think about it !!
The Garden tomb is hardly even mentioned on the tourist maps of Israel ...I definitely saw a skull shaped rock, much of which is only best visible from Bus park below the rock face , and Jesus we were told would not be put be put on top of a hill , where people had to labour to climb it , out there in that heat ( which you'll agree is one hot place ) he was put to an open shame as the Bible tells us .
We believe at normal street level , like the apian way Rome , the Crosses I dont think where the hight people imagine, or on a big hard to get to hill , but lower , meeting eyeballs of the crucified would have been a definite deterrent to people going about their way ( not out of their way just to look at the crucified ) and just a few feet off the ground if that , no ladders needed ,we think Jesus was way more put to an open shame , so people could read who the criminals where , what charge they had and their names , or however the Procurator they labelled that person .
Anyway like I say brother one day we will see , I do think the catholic hierarchy , lay 'claims' to a lot of things , like they sell 'holy relics' like they claim to have the Lance that pieced Him , all wrapped in Gold ? Hmm

I want to add a couple of things. On the other side of the Gennath Gate was the Praetorium which served as Pilot's residence and the administrative center for the Romans. The Praetorium is where Jesus was judged, scourged, beaten and sentenced to be crucified. The Praetorium was only a couple of blocks from Herod Antipas's palace and the High Priest Caiaphas's house. In the scripture we know that all the locations Jesus was taken to the night he was arrested were in close proximity to the Gennath gate. Jesus would have been taken from the Praetorium, walked the 150 feet to the Gennath gate, taken through the gate and the site of his crucifixion was a short walk away.
A lot of people cling to the fantasy that the Garden Tomb is where Jesus was buried, mostly due to the huckster Ron Wyatt. It is a archaeological FACT that the Garden Tomb was carved in the Iron Age around 600 years before Jesus was born. That alone eliminates it as Jesus tomb. I will also point out that the Garden Tomb is NOWHERE near the Gennath Gate.

The greatest artists in every century,have created are finest churches designing decorating etc. These artists from candlesticks to bricks love God. The tomb if for discrimination would be buried in love! So I try to understand though I’m not Catholic. We must except all faiths because the time of persecution is coming for all Christians🌹

The Gospel of today (10/1120) can be compared directly to GOD the Father's chosen race, the Israelites/the Hebrews with the Jewish faith of Judaism--the very same people who persecuted, and crucified our Lord Jesus Christ, in whom up to now, donot have any Messiah.
Instead, their Masoretic text which they used in their 24-book Tanakh equivalent to 39 protestants and Non-Catholic Old Testament of the Bible by rearranging and removing those that pertains to the Messiah Lord Jesus! During the time of the Lord Jesus Christ, and His Apostles, where the Roman empire has just replaced the Alexandrian Greek Empire, Jesus and disciple-reading the Tanakh was already written and spoken together with the Aramaic language. Just like us Filipinos who speaks Tagalog but also reads and write English--as they conquered us--acculturation!
As the Lord Jesus established His Church to Simon, He named Greek Petra, Peter in English, the Catholic Church as reliably faithful to GOD the Father, the Begotten Son, and the Holy Spirit!
Like the chosen IsraelitesHebrews/Jewish sandwiches, scribes and pharisees, which uohold the Masoretic Old Testament with only 39 books, the protestants and non-Catholic sects of around 1,000 churches was blind to follow Christ's chosen 46 books of the Old Testament whose canon was declared by the first Christian Church established by Christ Himself!
Reminder: The person/church/sect who don't believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the Only Begotten of God the Father Almighty is the Anti-Christ!

Yes, there is a place called the Garden Tomb. However, from a purely evidential viewpoint, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre has much, much more evidence as being the true place.
Exactly my initial thoughts when I first looked into literature on this. But studies are showing it's the Church of the Holy Sepulchre I'm hoping to go see it. Want to see this place of this great miracle.
Well done! I remember standing in the Edicule when I visited in 2019, and being struck that there is no more sacred place on earth than right there.

@ 13:10 the place called Golgotha(Skull ) in not under this temple, it still is visible and you can see the eyes sockets and the nose and you can see old pictures of Jerusalem ( late 1800s and early 1900s) where they show the "skull" very remarkable, nowadays you still can see it , partly buried, but visible. Just look for "the real Golgotha " today and also look for old pictures of Jerusalem.
Most " Holy sites " in Jerusalem nowadays were established by the Roman Catholic Church erroneously, in the wrong place.
