The thought of him complaining of her laying around after she went through a c-section that takes a couple of months to recover makes me sick to my stomach!!
He was just making excuses to get other people onboard with thinking he was right to want her dead. He was off f'ing around and wasting their money on his affairs and she was being the parent to their daughters. I'd be terrified knowing my grandkids were with a psychopath. I hope they're all doing well they deserve a drama free happy life.

Absolutely. You’re not supposed to lift anything heavier than the baby for 4 month, better for 6 month! (At least this is the recommendation in Germany. You‘re even forbidden to work for 8 weeks after giving birth).
Correct. After I had my third c section I remember the excruciating pain I went though while running around after 3 other children alone. The painkillers took some pain awu but even with those it was very painful still. I remember having to slowly ease myself out of bed, the first few days I could only manage to sleep propped up with cushions on the couch. Pregnancy and after birth are such a life changing time, she would have been experiencing so many emotions on top of dealing with the piece of crap of a husband. I hope she's in peace on the other side and she is free of him now
I was an”H” addict for years and NEVER did or heard of anyone who did that orally. That medical examiner should have definitely picked up on that! On an unrelated note, I’ve been clean for over 18 years now.❤😢❤

People in that area take Klonopin all the time. He probably did not ask about flavorless drugs the same time he asked for the drugs. They probably didn't even put the two together until after she died.

Thank you so much for covering this case! My boyfriend is actually Christina’s cousin and their journey has been a long one. Even after his arrest, the family has had to fight for custody of the girls and finally won a few months ago. Sadly, Jim passed away about a week ago unexpectedly in his sleep and hasn’t had the chance to actually spend time with the girls due to the case. So now they’re dealing with the loss of their grandpa.

It would piss off any person that so many people knew the idiot in this video was actively trying to hurt his wife. That is definitely a “wtf” moment. They didn’t even actually spell out any bad words. Even if cursing is not your personal taste, it’s silly to tell grown adults they should never curse just because every once in awhile there will be someone like you who doesn’t like it. It’s fine that you don’t like cursing. But that should mean YOU don’t use curse words. It shouldn’t have any effect at all on what you tell other adults to do or say. Especially with such serious and angering subject matter.

It’s absolutely insane how often we see someone wanting to start a new life without their partner, but NEVER ask for a divorce. They just always automatically think, “yeah murder sounds like my only option.” So sad. Those poor kids.

I'm from this area and very happy you covered this. There were so many opportunities for people to speak up and potentially save Christina's life. The fact that so many people knew about his plots and kept silent says a lot about the company he kept. The fact that the police did almost no investigation at the start says a lot about how they view drug users as less than. Turns out they were judging the victim on a lifestyle she did not participate in. 😢

The c section thing absolutely infuriated me I’m not a woman so I don’t know the full extent of the surgery and pain but when my son was being born via c section I was holding my gf crying it was SO brutal it’s really forever stuck in my mind
The amount of people who are victims of domestic abuse and violence is staggering and heartbreaking 😢
These cases are the most heartbreaking. Imagine how selfish & horrible you have to be to deprive your children of their mother. So evil.
And now they are losing both of their parents, and will someday have to learn that the reason is because their father is an evil man. I hope the best for them.
I wish that justice will be served for my step sister, she was murdered by her husband in August of 2022. During a court hearing in August of 2023 they said he needed a mental evaluation. February 2024 the court is saying that he is too mentally unstable to understand and comprehend the proceedings so they won’t go forward with the hearing until he is competent to stand trial. He shot her in the face seven times and did it while his twin boys were in the house. I just want justice for my sweet and wonderful sister!

I actually can not believe they found her with foam around the mouth and didn't once question it? The lack of investigation is sickening! I'm actually mind blown. Then just assuming that she overdosed when there was ZERO evidence that she even uses drugs! WHY didn't that colleague come forward at all? Speechless. Murder over divorce is a joke, honestly, what?! All I can say is THANK GOODNESS she had such a loving and devoting family to push for justice, I hope her family are at peace and her beautiful girls are doing well, how utterly heartbreaking 🤍
Side note, I had to have a c-section and the recovery was awful, so much pain, unable to pick up my eldest and do any heavy housework ect for over 6 weeks. My baby was aslo kinda stuck and on the bigger side so the whole experience was A LOT, lots of tugging felt so odd
I'd also like to add that breastfeeding is so rewarding and so difficult all at the same time, pumping can be super stressful too! 😊

this is how my cousin was killed IN jail. it was brough in from someone who turned themself in and it was put in my cousins food. He just went to sleep, the kid who had NEVER tried FENT a day in his life only ever smoked weed, the cops covered it up saying he was in the drug program and had a history of drug use. which is not the case. I am so glad her family got justice. its too bad their kids lost both parents but my god why would someone do this. Thank you for covering this case. also you look radiant!

What this case demonstrates is that you could get away with murder (if there was no persistent family) even if you are dumb, sloppy and openly arrogant about it. Jason clearly was no mastermind and still he almost got away with it. Unbelievable.

this case happened in my hometown right down the road from me. shook everyone to the core. she was so pleasant, always waved at me and my sister when we were skating around outside.
I’m so thankful Kendal for you mentioning men can be victims too, my son was a victim, he was so controlled by his wife, a creature who was my age, he had absolutely no control over his own life, and because he was her prisoner so was I, I was so careful to not get on her bad side, but the day she called and “said come get you son’s stuff, if it’s not gone within two hours I’m burning it all” we had only a small hatchback and we lived an hour away, my husband called off work, we drove there, my son had already left but wouldn’t let him take any of his belongings, she was so evil, he knew to just get out quick because she could make up the craziest stories and have him arrested, she used to bite his face all the time, that was when she wanted him to tell people he was a “very bad boy and had to be punished, he deserved it”, she bit him all over, making him bleed, the reason she had us get his belongings was to be able to tell us all the horrible things he is, and she really believed she could get him to crawl back to her, but my daughter in law was “ohhh hll no!”, she kept him quiet busy with some of her single and very beautiful friends, enough time for him to recover and realize she can’t get to him any longer, I’m thankful he did meet a very special gal, I absolutely adore her, im thankful to you for bringing up domestic violence where men are the victims, I know a few cases and I cannot help, so I stick around
So glad your son got out of an abusive relationship, and found REAL love with someone else! I'm a guy who was married to an abusive wife who also allowed her elderly, narcissistic mother to abuse me verbally, emotionally and financially. If I stood up to her or her mother she defended her mother and chose her over the marriage. To them I was nothing more than a piece of property - to be used and abused for them. I finally escaped that hell 6 years ago before they drove me to suicide. Even during divorce proceedings she denied, or even defended, bad behavior on her part or her mother's. 5 years ago I found someone wonderful and married her almost 2 years ago.
@@nopcshere6097 I’m so thankful you escaped, and escaped is the correct term, I can picture you being imprisoned, it seemed that way for my son too, when he escaped, we all did, I’ve always told anyone I believed to be in an abusive relationship “you may think you can handle it, but those who love you cannot, until you’re able to escape they too are victims, allow them to help you” I know escaping can be dangerous but it’s worth the risk, I’m so happy you found happiness and safety in love, God bless you and your journey🙏

I’m so glad you covered this! This was shocking news in my hometown of Davison, MI. He ran the concession stand at our local kids soccer club. I volunteered in the concession stand with him. Gave total creeper vibes! He was around kids ALL THE TIME and none of us had a clue he was a murderer. Outside of his family and friends it seems.
Ughhh.. To find out he drugged her and she was seen as a drug user as her death was overdose. I'd be haunting that f'er every day. So happy she had family who spoke up for her!

It will never not blow my mind when I hear of cases in which a perpetrator told people prior to killing someone (and so often in detail!! like in this case) that they wanted to kill said person and nobody they spoke to reported that to the police! I cannot imagine somebody explaining to me in explicit detail how they planned to murder their wife and just keep that information to myself. You’re absolutely right, it makes you completely lose faith in humanity.
People always think that the person was joking and had no intention of going through with it for real. Most people don't want to think their friend will actually kill someone.

How many times have we seen a spouse become a suspect with A LOT less things to be suspicious of? Countless! There were so many things overlooked or simply ignored I would initially assume there was a coverup or involvement within the law enforcement.🤦🏼♀️ I’m glad the truth finally came out though!

As a recovering H addict i want to add this...
Since she did not use, it would not have taken very much to poison her. It does have a pretty strong taste by itself but a very low amount could easily be hidden in cereal/ milk. Plus, its not hard to get if he was already associated with people who had clonopins or amphetamines. So incredibly sad. My daughter was also born in 2014 and the fact that her kids have lost her forever bc he was so selfish and cold. Its a tragedy. 😢
It is so important to learn how to spot a narcissist. The love bombing and then the obvious disrespect once they have ‘captured’ their lover. Then they will make their partner’s life miserable because everything has to be all about them.
Like this terrible man, he lacked empathy which enabled him to kill the mother of his children.
Klonopin isn’t tasteless, it often tastes like mint. Also if she’d been a Heroin addict she would not have had painkillers left from the C-section. When I was using I went through an entire Rx in a few hrs. No one I’ve ever used with used orally, either.
This family has been through so much. My heart breaks hearing this. It's honestly terrifying how the people who are supposed to be there to help you in these moments have failed so many
Former heroin addict here (8 years clean!). Strong heroin tastes and smells like vinegar or gasoline. So either he used A LOT of bad quality H, or a little of pure stuff and masked it with sugar or a sweet cereal. Just answering some questions Kendall and other commenters asked. It could have also had fentanyl in it, which is taste and odorless

The thing about saying "Teach your daughters not to be victims" is that it's impossible to be taught not to be a victim. You can do everything right and something bad can still happen to you. becoming a victim comes from the outside. The best you can do is teach how to lesson the chances at becoming a victim, it's never a guarantee that it'll work. But teaching kids not to victimize others IS possible. because it's their choice if they are going to be a bully (or worse) to someone else. So like, yes, teach your kids to stand up for themselves and how to keep themselves safe (stranger danger is always a good thing to know) but also teach them not to hurt others.
Times are changing, girls are becoming the aggressors more & more- but boys don’t have the same avenues of support.
" Laying around"? Dude! She just birthed your child and had a massive surgery and healing period, in which she is on a medical restriction...... did you even bother to help? Pick up your daughter and give a cuddle? Ket your amazing wife, sleep, and take a night shift with your newborn? Or bath your older child? No? I'm a true crime fan and this is my first time on your channel Kendall and the first time I heard of this story. Such a tragedy, Christina was obviously a good mother and her dedication to do right by her children and feed them well proved her innocence from that alleged crime, meanwhile incriminated her awful husband. RIP Christina, her family were amazing. And thank you Kendall for your good story telling.
When it comes to poisoning it’s so far removed from being a possibility. When she ate breakfast she might of thought this taste funny but, she probably went to the milk is about to go bad or maybe my taste buds are off. You never in your wildest dreams think. Hey just want to say as a die hard fan of anything mile higher and a dad of 2 girls I totally agree with the importance of teaching guys how to treat women like valued human beings and not objects so I’m definitely going to check out the organization and see how I can support them and thank you for highlighting the issue.
That being said I’m also going to push for any martial art or defense classes that my girls want to take as they grow up but with only a 3 and 1 year old I have time lol

This is such a sad case.. it was senseless and I do not understand that monsters/evil people walk this earth. I cannot wrap my head around spouses killing the one person they vowed to love for the rest of their life, and leaving their kids with no parents to look up to 😞 this is just so sad. I hope that Christie’s family have found some peace and that her soul is resting in peace.

Its so so SO frustrating with these cases where there were so many times when someone could have stepped in and stopped it way before it even started (with the red flags and people not taking him seriously)
