    I love when narcissists get caught because they underestimate how much their victim is cared about. The nanny noticing all of those little things like the purse, tea, car, paper towels, etc. And shoutout to the neighbors for having the security systems

      Yes! I thought the same thing about the nanny picking up on all of those clues. She knew the family, house, and schedule so incredibly well that she immediately picked up on differences with things as seemingly non-important such as how many rolls of paper towels are in the pantry. Never discredit your own intuition!
      And the coworker... to have the forethought to save his truck's seats when he was being forced to replace them!! So smart.

      I agree. Reminds me of Chris Watts and Shannan’s best friend noticing her absence and that things were strange SO quickly that he couldn’t even finish hiding all of the evidence or putting his story together (she noticed Shannan missing her early morning appointment Immediately, showed up to the house, noticed the shoes she always wore right inside the door, how her purse WITH medication she wouldn’t travel anywhere without was still there, etc). And also the neighbor noticed Chris’s strange behavior immediately as they were watching the security footage of the truck with the cop (that he had his hands up on his head and how he was talking A LOT more than normal and also like pacing/rocking back and forth while watching it). Like the fact that people like this care so much about the person and notice anything out of place or things out of character by the person or the potential perpetrator just seems to always slip the minds of the perps or they seem to just not even think about it at all or prepare for it, which in turn fucks up their ENTIRE plan/story. It would almost be comical, if it wasn’t… they’re so narcissistic that they don’t even consider or anticipate any of this happening, and it usually always causes their downfall

    he marries jennifer within a month of splitting from his then-wife. he moves his new girl in as soon as his new wife leaves him with the intention to file for divorce. i’m sensing a trend here. knowing he’s done it at least the one time (to jennifer), is it really wise for the new woman to think he won’t do the same to her? if a guy tried cheating on his partner with me, even if i had feelings for him, i would run as far away as possible because, while of course i wouldn’t help someone cheat in the first place, who’s to say he wouldn’t then do the same thing TO me that he did WITH me? but then again, I’ve watched enough videos of this kind of thing that I’ve learned this lesson without having to experience it first-hand.

    12:54 This part really hit home with me. I was married to a man who always had to win. If we went somewhere in separate vehicles, he would speed just to "win" the imaginary race home. I was unhappy, and my mom asked why i didn't just leave him. I told her that if i did, he and his mother would use all her money and power to take my children. Well, that's exactly what happened. It's sad that money can buy a narcissistic, alcoholic with a felony DWI plus child engagement custody of a 4 and 6 yr old. (I didn't know about the child endangerment til after i was married and pregnant). If i had been able to "win" in the divorce/ custody battle, i fear that i would have ended up disappearing. I hate that Jennifers children are now left with no parents all bc their father was a pos. It's the children who truly suffer in these types of situations.

      @winxgirlsrule 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +20

      There’s multiple reasons for this… Protecting the image of a victim is crucial, because most people will turn a blind eye if there’s an affair. In this case it is emphasized to show that Jennifer’s husband clearly was not interested in being a good partner, and was okay with just getting rid of her.
      This man is evil, pure evil. Affairs are not ok, but not having advocacy for a victim because of an affair, is unfair.

    Funny when you said that what attracted her to him, was the fact that he was ready to settle down. He had in fact already settled down with his wife, and she shouldn't have been caught by surprise when he also cheated on her. Even though she was a home wrecker, she did not deserve to die. I do hope they find her body and sentence him and the mistress to life in prison.

    Clearly his moving on super quick into a new relationship, to the extent of moving in, is nothing new. Seems its his MO. Thats a HUGE sign of a narcissist, too!!!

      A Narc ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS has someone stringing along in the background, just in case.
      They need that fuel

    People won't believe this, but when someone is a cheater it gives you an insight to their character. It shows that they didn't build an emotional connection to their previous partner. So much so, that they're willing to hurt that other person. No regard shows little to no empathy or compassion. This is a tell-tale sign of sociopathy. The narcissism comes into play with the fact they their wants come before any consideration to the feelings/well-being of others. It's not just the fact that if they cheat with you, they'll cheat on you (though that's true too) it's the fact that you're knowingly getting involved with someone who's shown themselves to be too shallow to build deep emotional connections with others. What's the point? Who wants to love someone who is incapable of returning that emotion.

    Thanks for covering this! What a tragedy, my heart goes out to their 5 kids and Michelle’s daughters, these kids are the victim of 2 narcissists who thought they can getaway with this heartless act. Typical narcissist behavior, they think they’re smarter than everyone else.
