Man I can't get enough of your STG series. It's such a great idea and your method and layout for each video is fantastic. I'm incorporating these patterns into my own playing. Really looking forward to more of these videos! Keep it up!
Hey man, thanks for this. You don't understand, this is awesome. I am a logic user and had no ideas about some of these tricks. Thanks so much, keep up the awesome work dude. Very inspiring... mind blown to pieces...
Can you tell me what you have exactly on the top of the stems of your cymbal stands? I am assuming it is because the threads on yours are stripped as well? I bought plastic imitation butterflies but they're pretty crappy
How long does it take for you to play any linear pattern (that you've never come across before) up to speed? Is it just pure repetition of that pattern into your muscle memory that will make the pattern permanent?
+Andrevth 曾 It just depends on where your playing level is. Most patterns I come across now I can play pretty quickly once I understand what it is. Eventually your coordination gets to the point where your limbs can execute pretty much anything your mind can comprehend... but making it sound good and authentic is the next layer of challenge once you get the pattern down.
Thanks, Austin!!!!
That was perfect!
Thank you so much!
+Austin Burcham Good on ya bro.
The Cajon was a touch of genius. Love these vids, thanks man
+Tom Townsend haha thanks man... I think some people don't like the suicide bits, but it's nice to know someone out there does! 👍🏼

+Austin Burcham aw thanks buddy! I spent literally all day learning this lick today.
Nice! It's a good one... Playing it over 32nds is super tough but I think it works beautifully as 16th triplets.
Great video Austin! Well done and nicely played :-)
I love these videos! gives us practical quick applications of what the experts play. Can you do some Chris Coleman?

What ride and crash is that on the right side?!
Great video, you won a subscription.
What snare drum do you use? It sounds really nice
Great one man!
How about a little Stanton Moore? Jost's hand foot combos rivals Vinnie's BR II performance.

Thanks Austin! That was super!
Great explanation, and very very interesting fill. Thanks a lot! :)
Jost Nickel has some great playing. That's hard to play at the end!
Yea those linears are super tough to execute cleanly... I think it's the hardest part of the whole thing
the "mmmmmmm!"s and "Nasty!"s are the best part of these videos
hey could you do a video about Kendrick Scott??
On the cajon tho 😂😂

+JulianFernandez I'm using Superior Drummer for the drum sounds but you can just use the built in drum sounds in Logic and they sound great too.
