great video! i think really valuable information started at 1:34. maybe a small clip of this info on youtube would catch some attention? I love how you have taught me to communicate with my dogs. life changing! I hope many more dog owners find your channel! thank you

I decided to use your method of training without the treats because (as you said) my beagle then only concentrate on the treats and simply...the treat rewarding doesn't really work for us. But my dog seems not to show interest in toys or something we could play with. Sometimes she does but not always. When I used to use treats, she sometimes even didn't show interest in treats too. (speaking of training in areas where it is not too difficult to attract her attention). When we are walking, it is even more difficult, she does her thing and "rewards" herself by digging dirt and eating some twigs or leaves or what. So my question is how to become more appealing for my dog ? :D

@@SaroDogTraining Thank you. I have plenty of questions but I see I should go through all your videos first and then ask. :) I realized I didn't provide my dog enough training and exercise and I want to change that, but sometimes I don't really know what to do exactly. I wish you lived in my country to help me with it in person but at least I can watch your videos. Keep going. :-)

Very good philosophy ,the day your dog realizes that your out of treats is the day the dog will stop obeying your commands

Which happens all the time with most dogs.

I'm very frustrated with my 4 month old beagle. He just doesn't get the house training. I don't show him I'm flustered & I don't hit or yell at him but it's like I hv to be around him 24/7. He is not coming when I'm calling him so the problem has got to be with me. What do you suggest? Any tips

That's amazing! What have you used as reward, instead?

I don’t understand? You had your dog in a down and then all of a sudden you were walking around and the dog was also do you not have a release to tell your dog she’s done?

I do have a release word but I chose not to use it as I didn't need to use it in this example. I didn't ask her to lie down and stay. I just asked her to lie down. The message of the video is about rewarding dogs without treats and not the technical points of training. I hope that makes sense.

@@SaroDogTraining Well we never saw you move or the dog move all of a sudden the dog was up and you were up but when I tell my dog to down he stays there until I tell him not to but I guess that’s not your method But I think most people trying to train their dog want their dog to stay until they tell them it’s OK to get up with a release word because the dog will just get up when it wants to and I guess there’s no reason not to get up the way you train I’m just confused I’m sorry although I like your training
