    I love the opportunity for swoopy dynamics. I can see, too, how this cambio de frente kind of move could nicely fit a call-and-response in a phrase of music.

    It violated all the rules. For example, at 5th step (crusade) for the follower, it should have been the left leg crossed over, so that the next step (the sixth) falls on the right foot, then tango out.
    Why on the video everything was on the opposite?
    The leader's 3rd step should have been on his right foot, but instead, he used left foot to do the 3rd.
    If sticking to the golden rule of basic 8 steps, it is impossible to do this pattern. Perhaps you can show us how in the next video?

      You bring up an interesting point. But they are not showing us how to do the basic 8. They are showing a "girada", which is something else entirely.
