Damn, this thing is a flying saucer, have you measured the speed? Great to see the lee pod in action, beefs up the safety factor by a lot indeed.

I am a guest/crew when aboard Madness. I have seen 15 knots on her. I am sure she is capable of much more. for example, the ama has water ballast tanks which her skipper has yet to use.

Lee pod? Isn't it sailed with the pod windward?

the Ama is to the windward. But the cabin pod is leeward to provide some extra buoyancy if the Ama flies too high.
