The Royal Hospital demolition update. 19th March 2024

In this update you se the duncan building is well under way of demolition. Also w take a look around the back and other parts of the site, you will notice a lot of the clinics have now gone.

Another excellent video update Paul.
Just looking at the enormity of the Duncan Building alone, gives a good idea on the arduous task ahead.
Health and safety as an example, will be under constant scrutiny.
9:15 . I was part of the team that installed the 4 x chillers on the roof in early to mid 1992. It was a fantastic project to be involved with. Many happy memories.

Good video again. At the rate of demolition it's going to be end of 2025 before the hospital is completely knocked down.

Brilliant video once again! Keep them coming will never get board of them! Always look forward to the updates! Even tho i find it strange seeing a big hospital get pulled down, see it on a fire fighters programme on youtube. I think it was called Merseyside firefighters they were called into a stuck lift. I bet it has treated some of the sickest people there in its time? Where they still using it in the pandemic?

Yes the old royal was open during 2020s pandemic the new one opened up just as things was starting to get to normal

I think it's some kind of green space..small park ..landscaped

there is going to be training facilities for future doctors and i hope they build a proper patient car park as well as some land scaping what was part of the New Hospital

@veryhighguy personally I think they should have relocated the Women's Hospital from Toxteth
