Found this quite emotional to watch. This hospital treated me for cancer. I will always remember the kindness of staff and the views from the 9th floor, looking out towards Paddy’s Wigwam, whilst in isolation. The hospital & city will always hold a special place in my heart.
Oh, wow! Thanks for uploading this. It's quite a very big site to demolish. That's going to take some time to do! Even old fire alarm bells inside the building, too, that looks to not have been updated throughout the years. I watched a video on TH-cam. I think it was Merseyside firefighters years ago called to that hospital for a stuck lift. Keep uploading more of this when you can. I live in Scotland and want to see the tall Boiler chimney come down. That's if it is, and it's not supplying new hospital with heat? Maybe they have a new efficient boiler plant in the new hospital. Would you get into trouble if you fly your drone over the chimney?
A good idea that. But they won't want to keep that hospital, and no one use it. It will be very costly to do so heating up the building for nothing. NHS is cash-strapped as it is. With a new Morden hospital behind it, that can probably specialise in almost anything and don't think the old hospital will reach modern standards these days. Even the old fire alarms are very old and can see in that video it's bells they used in that hospital. It's a shame to see it go, though. There's probably been a list of faults with the old hospital that will cost more to be rectified.
Wow what a concrete jungle! Was one ugly build tho.Gonna take some demolishing. Looks like a hungry mechanical T-rex . Has the decision been made about what's being built on there at all? Quality filming Paul

Great to see. I had a horrible vision that somehow it would be turned into flats or something. Horrid buildings but great staff
Fantastic video Paul thanks for sharing 👍 😊

Looks like a greedy dragon devouring the building
Love hate relationship with this building.. a little emotional to see it being destroyed.
Was told 3 years to get it all down ?
Wow this hospital saved my life,I was given a 10% chance of survival and the amazing staff got me through,I will be eternally grateful xxx
Hello mate lovely vid as always what is the water spraying out for???
To keep dust clouds from spreading
It is a shame. The whole city could have been protected in that, in the event of a nuclear war!

Good catch Paul, I saw this the other day and wondered whether you would cover the demolition. That's going to take some time to come down
