    My heart absolutely breaks for you!! I completely understand the going to the bathroom 100 times a week. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at age 23 I’m fixing to turn 50 in Just a few days. I have had 28 surgeries during all this time. I had two fistulas as well. One was six inches deep into my left butt cheek the other one was around my anus. I put up with trying to heal my fistulas for over two years and i finally decided for a permanent colostomy bag. So I had my anus and most of my colon removed and I had already lost some of my small intestines due to having resections for the Crohn’s disease there as well. I have been on the keto diet for over a year to help my liver and my Crohn’s. I’m lactose intolerant, gluten sensitive and the only thing that has helped has been changing my diet. I still have a lot of diarrhea but it’s not as severe as it was. I’m still working on my diet to cut things that trigger the diarrhea. I cut out all sugar and all carbohydrates. I’m dealing with having a load of kidney stones at this time. I’ve never had them this bad before.
    You are definitely in my thoughts & prayers & I’m so glad I found your channel ❤🙏🏻✝️

      Oh Melissa! You poor thing. You have had such a terrible time. Crohn's is just a horrible disease and it must be so debilitating for you. It puts my own situation into perspective. So many other kind people like yourself send me messages of support when their own problems are far more challenging. I do hope you are able to find that balance of diet/medication etc which makes good days outnumber the bad ones. Hang in there Melissa! I'm delighted you found my channel. I feel your pain, Bill. I have metastatic breast ca, stage 4. I'm on a drug called Verzenio which causes diarrhea. It gets better then it reappears out of the blue. I can't have anything spicy and even eggs seem to set off the toilet visits. Argh. I just drink more water and eat Immodium to slow it down. Praying for you and hope you get past all the bad stuff and start recovering well. Take care and stay strong.

      Would cannabis help harden up this man's stools or relieve any of his symptoms?
      Hang in there.
      My cousin is currently fighting cancer he's 51.
      Same problem.
      Toilet 20 times a day.
      Made worse by the fact he's had 8" of intestine removed very close to his rectum.
      They said he got CDiff in the hospital?
      Google CDiff terrible.
      My mom got CDiff from a dental antibiotic.
      Everyone must beware of this possibility.
      If anyone has a latent colony of Cdiff...this particular antibiotic will kill all the good bacteria in your digestive tract
      leaving you with a nasty CDiff infection.

      @@alinafelenca3090 I'm sorry you are having such a miserable time Alina. Is it too late to have the bag back? I agonised over whether to reverse or not because I coped pretty well with the ileostomy, but I would have had t have it changed to a colostomy anyway and it would have meant all the chemoradiation was pointless as I could have had surgery as soon as I got my diagnosis. I also thought that I would always egret not trying as it could have worked out so much better. I am still hopeful life will improve and don't yet regret it.

    Maybe you already have this, but a loved one of mine had a bidet attachment added to the toilet (inexpensive and easy to attach). The water cleansing after each toilet use was very helpful for healing and comfort.
    I also want to add that your body is obviously detoxifying by way of this unpleasant process (that is also the cause of the rash). It is your body's way of getting rid of what makes you ill, and is completely necessary. My family member experienced tha same thing. The detoxing eventually stops once the body is free of the toxins that it is working so hard to remove but it takes a long time.
    Best wishes to you. You will get well.

    Hi Bill, new to your channel. I’m Celiac (an autoimmune disease), basically the body cant digest the protein in gluten. Gluten is added to many foods as a bulking or thickening agent. Its also in quite a few grains, wheat, spelt, etc. Its a hereditary disease but can skip several generations. It can also (sometimes) lay dorment, activating later in life. Chances are this is not the cause of your problems but worth checking out just to be sure. Best wishes.

      @billrogersburp  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! Is it Ara? Delighted you found me. Thank you for the tip. We did wonder if it might be a gluten issue. I love bread and have always eaten tonnes of it but it might be worth cutting it out for a while to see what happens. 👍

    • @oilfreeara277
      @oilfreeara277 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@billrogersburp Hi Bill, its Arabella, Ara for short. Anyway, I suggest firstly cutting out wheat and just seeing if that makes a difference. If it does not then ( start eating wheat again &) get tested for celiac’s disease before you cut out gluten completely. Wheat is a common allergy, the protein within wheat is gluten which is contained within many other grains. People with celiacs disease are unable to digest the protein in gluten. Once you have cut out gluten from your diet the gut repairs itself and there is no way of telling if you have celiac’s disease or not . The first test is a blood test, I think for antibodies, after which you then have a biopsy of the colon for confirmation of the disease. I suffered from extreme diarrhoea, allergies and skin rashes before, late in life, a family member mentioned that we had relatives with celiac’s disease. For years I wasn’t tested because I was unaware it ran in my family. Hope you find the answer to your problems, best wishes, Arabella

      Hi Susan. Great to hear from you. I remember you had almost the same issue as me. I think you were a few months ahead of me in the process. So glad you are doing so well! I did have an ileostomy for a year before the reversal in January, so I know what it's like. I agree with you - it really wasn't so bad. I coped pretty well with it and often thought it was so much more efficient than our normal way of emptying out! I was able to eat and drink whatever I liked. I was really in two minds whether to opt for the reversal or to have keep the bag because I had heard nightmare stories about reversals. But my surgeon said I would have to have a colostomy anyway, which would mean surgery to switch the bag to the left side, and that would be complicated by the scar tissue from the original work. Even though I am having some ups and downs, I think I made the right decision to reverse. If my pain issues continue I suppose they might offer me the baga again, so that will be a big decision to make. Anyway, thank you for reaching out to me and thank you for following my vlogs all this time. 😊❤️

    Your comments were turn off on your latest video so that is why I am posting this here. Hi Bill. I came across your Vlog and saw where you were trying to come up with some ideas on how to get some better nutrition into your body in the form of vitamins and nutrients. When I was really sick, I used a product called Maximum Vibrance. It contains all of the nutrients that your body needs and is healthy, unlike sugary Ensure. I will admit it’s not the most best tasting, but it does come in a couple of flavors. I used to mix mine in a plant-based vanilla flavored protein powder with some avocado to give it a thickness.
    Another thing that you can also look into that would help with your immune system is beta glucan. Many patients who go through cancer have benefited from using beta glucan because it does not interfere with most cancer treatments but of course I would discuss this with your doctor first. The best brand that I have found out there to use is by a company called Better Way Health.
    And finally I’m not sure if your doctor is wanting you to get more good gut bacteria into your system. If so there is a product called VSL #3. They have a grade that you can order that is below prescription strength or you can talk to your doctor and see if your doctor can get you a prescription for it. Just make sure the order directly from the company because they know how to pack it proper because it needs to stay cold so that the bacteria that you will need to use will stay alive. I hope these suggestions help and I hope you feel better soon so you can get out there and do the things that you enjoy doing. 🙏🏻🙂

I just checked into your profile and can see you are a well-established author and I viewed a few of your video links to TV interviews etc on bullying. I don't know your story yet but I'm intrigued to find out more so I will dip into more of your videos. I saw that you were a victim of bullying and how emotionally destructive that experience was for you. To have become the strong, successful person you are today is to your huge credit, so well done! Thank you again for your kind support 😊❤️
