- So, today we found out that it's spread to my bile duct and liver. The last place we wanted it as the trial relies on my liver functioning properly of which it is not.
I am severely unwell but I am going to have a stent put in to hopefully fix this, this week.

Dan is admired, respected, makes us laugh and lifts spirits, shares the ups and downs of his fight with cancer, it truly does not get any more real then sharing your life with others as you are dying! Dan is the most remarkable of men.So many of us feel real and genuine feelings of love for him! We are in this fight with him. Dan has awakened us to the reality we are all united as a human race. We are truly blessed to know we care so deeply about his well being. As we all continue to pray for a miracle, it already has occurred, because that miracle is Dan❤️

This video really was emotional for me to watch...I just witnessed hope..happiness...matter of fact.. disappointment..fear..terror..sadness..all in under four minutes..it actually gave me some insight into your journey the ups the downs in real time. It's so incredibly hard to see such a beautiful..young..good spirited man go through this. You're in my prayers..thoughts and your parents as well. If I could suggest anything from having family members gone through this do everything and anything you want now..eat that piece of cheese cake.. have a bacon cheeseburger..tell that person you love them..pick your mom a flower outside bring it to her..HAVE NO REGRETS..LIVE LOVE LAUGH.💟

Eamon Doyle It is not my intention to be mean in any way, believe me, if I could help him, I wouldn't hesitate a second. There is simply no good in trying to tell someone who's about to die that everything will be ok, were in fact *IT IS NOT*. If you want to support him, tell him about near death experiences, tell him to do his research on after life, so we can at least minimize his fear of death. I do believe that life after death is a place where we all find infinite love, peace and harmony one day. It shouldn't be a taboo to talk about it.

It was so apparent that this hit you hard, Daniel. At the close, you weren’t your usual jovial self. I could see that you were struggling to keep it together. No one would blame you if you didn’t. My heart breaks for you & your family, especially your sweet, cheerful mom. Praying continues for you. There are multitudes praying for you, & there are even more who love you & your family.

I cried today when I saw your video...my mother was diagnosed with bile duct cancer that had spread to her liver. To hear you say the same thing was heartbreaking. I lost her 2 years ago and the pain is still never ending. Fight and keep strong...as long as you have breathe in your body remember you are alive and loved...

Yeah, Penny, I lost my father few years back, and the pain is something that I didn't expect. It just stays with you. Everyday, I think about him, and I miss his presence. Sorry you have to know that pain too. You're not only one.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, you are right. I don't think I knew what "being human" meant until 6 months after his passing. It's quite a change in a person's life. Grief therapy helped with others who were in same situation, but if they say "time heals" -- well, I'm not sure there is enough time in the Universe's Lifespan to fully heal from it. So, know you're not alone. Had many losses before, but a parent's loss is worse than all / any of those.
We all stand beside you and behind you. We will all keep you in our thoughts. Stay strong. You are one of the strongest youtubers. Thats why they even know about you on the international space station.

Patsy -- The thing that I see that most people need to do more of, is relax about it and to decide to do what it takes. By relax, I mean, know that you have been diagnosed with a life-threatening disease ... right? Well, you're no different than me -- I'm dying from aging. It's just a different date -- that's all. So, you just realize the clock is a little shorter (possibly). That is all that is different. next, with doing what it takes, if you are SUGGESTED to get a few chemo, then do chemo and do a FULL ROUND. Or, if it's suggested you get surgery, do surgery and do chemo or radiation. Get me. Overdo, and that's why my parents fought cancer multiple times (both of them) and won. They did what was asked and more. That's what saves people -- along with NOT PRAYING ABOUT IT but taking ACTION and QUICK. Does that make sense?
Poe Lemic, my journey with cancer has been difficult but I am getting better. It is through people like Dan that I get inspiration. If Dan can do this then so can I. My days consist of spending time meditating and doing what the doctors say. So thankful I have a support team like Dan does.

Gosh Dan, I don't know what to say! FIrst IT WAS A CHIHUAHUA! And secondly on a not-so-light note, my aunt just had a liver stent put in and she's doing great after a few days of recovery. I pray and am envisioning this being the case for you and that you will continue your trial right after! This will be a small setback but you will conquer this!

Dan sorry to hear you are feeling not good. Although it Is easier said than done, stay strong. By keeping knowing that you will improve. Mind over matter. Willpower can be a powerful thing. My sister years ago was given a short time to live and guess what, I did look after her. I never mentioned the word cancer. Referred to the illness as it can evoke negative emotion. I do know everyone is different. Besides this she also had a heart bypass and diabetes. However I patiently preserved and everyday we would do affirmations, of which she did not want to do. I made sure she ate good food to keep her strength. No parabens in toiletries and when she was at her worst I held her hand and said she had to stay for all of us. She has lived for over twenty years against the odds. You are a shining example of cheerful, up building and resilience. I am so proud of you and your Mam. Keep going also for your you tube family, who love and adore you.I am so proud of them to as they are so compassionate. We are all supporting you. Next course of action is to repeat every day positive self talk. At your worst times play soothing music and have mood lighting to stay in calming atmosphere. Much love to you from me. Lost one of my younger brothers to cancer this disease is a real bastard sorry for the French . We have lost so many friends and family members to this bloody disease . Been following your journey and I have to say that for such a young chap you carry yourself with such dignity you are a true Brit in every sense . You have managed to touch so many people's lives and I'm sure given many strength . Unselfishly you have shared your strength that you emit every time you make a video . I'm quite aware that off camera you are alone with your thoughts I'm sure that's the hardest of times . Your personality shines through infront of the camera though and people draw off your energy . Good grief... it goes on and on. Stick with it though, Dan. I had a stent put in and it really helped (for something else, but it was fine, don't worry - it sounds worse than it is; it's unpleasant, but doable, if you know what I mean). Re the nausea, what really helped me when I was having treatment for stuff and meds that made me feel super sick, was ginger tea (strong, organic with sugar to make it less yuck... smells better than it tastes); a bottle of peppermint essential oil to sniff (don't get it on your nostril though, because that is super unpleasant if you do); burn lemon essential oil in a burner (make sure these are actual essential oils and not nasty cosmetic mixed blends) and stay hydrated. Hang in there - you can do this. Hugs

I just stumbled across this video, it was on “recommends” ... My mother has died of breast cancer in 2012, she had stage 3 going on stage 4 when she was diagnosed, and didn’t know she had it for years prior to that. A couple months went by and she started to feel weak, it spreaded to her brain, and had NO solution to fix such this disease. It’s heartbreaking and unfortunate but I lost her when I was 13/14 years of age in the 8th grade going into high school.
