Wonderful deals at Sam's Club! You never cease to amaze me with all of your research. I marvel at how you have the time to get it all done. God bless you and yours!
All of your children are so sweet and lovely. Little Rebecca can sure make this old girl smile! Thanks for the grocery haul with breakdown. I need to start doing this! Every few cents really does count! Thank you Janice!
That’s a great tip to learn on the laundry detergent just because it’s a better deal on fluid ounces doesn’t mean it’s a better deal if you get less loads per bottle! So compare how many loads instead! I think you’re going to have extra this month too!! That would be wonderful more for the summer kitchen!!
I buy laundry detergent by ounces also mainly because I do not use a fullnload worth of ounces ever. I have a fill spot and use that not their determined load count.
Hi. Don't use as much detergent as it says on the 127 load bottle. Use the amount you would use from the ecos bottle. I'm sure you won't notice a difference in the clean by using a bit less. It's HE, superconcentrated. That will still let you save! I heard you say that your thrift store tops stain. Try using dishwasher liquid in a load of only those tops. Its WONDERFUL on hard to remove food stains. I ❤ your posts.
I understand the Xtra expense in bags for a foodsaver, but ypu can use it for things without buying the bags. you can use it for things that come in plastic (like the nacho chips) to reseal them. You can also use it on bags of frozen vegetavle or fruit in the freezer - when you get them home, open them then reseal with the foodsaver.. It takes out the air and creates more room in the freezer,. It would also work on bulk bags of cereal. Pretty much anything that comes in a plastic bag could be resealed. And I think you can smaller countertop foodsaver machine.
I LOVE seeing the difference between the store prices. Especially since I shop those exact same stores, but never realized the prices were so vastly different.
I'm curious if you ever shop the stores in the town to the west (I don't want to name it in case you've never said where you live on here.) A friend and I were discussing your driving to this town to shop instead of going to the town on your side. Are the prices over there just crazy high?
If the meat deal is really good you could get it and use it within the next few days by just refrigerating the purchase instead of freezing it. That way you could save the money but not utilize any of your freezer space since you have the money left in your budget.
Janice my mom never drove and she would have loved to go shopping like you do. She used to say, she would love to have a store where everything would be a dollar. That was years before such stores opened! My husband and I watched you and we see more items to buy after our third time viewing. We dont have a Costco. We seniors could stockup for a year if we had transportation out of county. Those shaves are great to have. Health care supplies. Every penny adds up. Looking for deals . Thank you. Janice thanks for an another great grocery haul. I’m going to look for the shelf stable Idaho Spuds . I’ve never seen those before in the store. Do you have any recipes for the canned chicken? I have several cans of chicken for prep ( I live in the land of hurricanes) . I made chicken salad out of one can and it was just ok . I’m looking for other recipes because I want to rotate my stock . Rebekah is so adorable.. “ hopefully go bye bye “ ❤
Hi Donna! I don't really have specific recipes that call for canned chicken. I just like to keep it on hand for emergencies, but I also try to use it up before the expiration date hits. I've found some Trim Healthy Mama recipes that are easy to just dump canned chicken into, but usually I just use it to make up quick salads. 😁
I am not sure why I love watching your shopping hauls ….Maybe it’s cuz I love all types of shopping lol. It’s fun to see what good fun deals you find Janice. When my kids were still here, we went to Costco every month. They have a lot more food choices and everything else too, than they had in the dinosaur 🦕 🦖 era lol. I follow two families that shop there and Trader Joes every week…one has 10, soon to be 11 kids…Happy Caravan. You might want to check their shopping trips out…and they have never been told to leave or turn off her phone camera or other type. I think you would like them…Mark and Amber de le Motte. Janice, have you ever spent all of your food budget?
I'm subscribed to The Happy Caravan! They're an awesome family! Yes, I've spent all of my grocery budget before and even gone over *gasp!* some months! :)
Janice, you might want to explain to the people how you come up with the cost per ounce or by the sheet or something like that some people may not know how to do that
Hi Cathleen! Actually, we do keep pressure canned chicken on hand too! I like to diversify, so I have home-canned items in the root cellar and also some store-canned items in my pantry. :)
Olive oil has gone up so much lately around here. I couldn't find cheaper then $12.99/litre in my area this week. (A couple months ago it was $9.99/litre in Central Canada) I freeze tortilla's all the time. I've never found a brand that didn't freeze well.
Yes, when I was putting away my newest jug of EVOO, I noticed that I recently paid $22.98 for it, but just a few months ago I was paying $19.98 for the same amount. That does NOT make me happy at all!!! :)
Love these videos they're my favorite kinds of videos ❤I have a question does your family avoid pork products? I've noticed turkey pepperoni and the all beef hotdogs (which I also prefer)and then the turkey sausage you make up yourself. As always I love your family sweet Rebecca always makesme smile with her creative words. Love from our family to your❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ our family could use some prayers since I broke my knee My husband is already disabled in a wheelchair and now I'm in a wheelchair so he's been wheelchair-bound for a long time as he has cerebral palsy I'm a DVsurvivor so I have not been disabled as long as him and I have more of a physical issues doing things because I have so many injuries that are healed and or healing❤❤❤
We'd be happy to include you in our prayers, Monica! It must be difficult to have both you and your husband wheelchair-bound at this time. To answer your question, yes, we have avoided pork since around 2017. We really do enjoy our beef and turkey alternatives though! :)
I don’t know what happened to my messages but I shall try again. I find your shopping method very interesting and very helpful. You need to get out to a younger audience as they need so much help. Why not compare prices among different states and other countries Ask when live and get people contributing the following week bananas, apples, milk flour _ we have Aldi, Lidl and Asda , but does it matter just compare prices.,. Oh, I'm so very glad that our videos were a help during your recovery! That absolutely made me smile today! I'll try to brainstorm ways to help people with different stores, although I admit that my brain stays pretty busy just keeping up with the price comparisons at my own local stores! :)
I really do need to! Several people have asked for that video. I'm wondering if I should just do a quick "short" on the topic or if it'll be lengthy enough to publish as a regular video. Hmm... :)
Make the video long enough for people to get a better idea on how to do the calculations. Some of might have a slower time of catching on. As for me I am a visual learner and need to see just how things are done.
Janice, this a mayday message from Mary Ann. Due to the fact we have no brakes on our car, as it goes it the 12 th of December, my son has cancelled any orders I’ve placed using my card as he believes I’m not thinking right since I’m spotting for several days and my NP thinks I may have a kidney stone as my urine tested negative for infection. Im despondent I had to cancel the order for your sweatshirts for Christmas, I apologize you have such a destitute friend from Michigan, who is quite ill. Please y’all pray for me. 😯😢😢😑🙏🙏❤️❤️
Oh Mary Ann, please do not feel badly about this! I agree that it's a wise decision, especially with the additional financial hardships that you have going on right now. If you truly want to bless me, friend, do what needs to be done so you can give me a praise report on your financial situation. I would be just thrilled if you were able to share that your family had more wiggle-room in your budget and paying for necessary things was causing you less stress. Seriously, Mary Ann, that news would make me grin from ear to ear! Please take care of your health and know that I love your kind, generous heart! :)
My clothes don't get really soiled. Back in the day, I started using half as much detergent as it called for. Never use as much as it calls for 30 years later. Clothes are clean and fresh.
I'm 68 years old and live a lonel .So I will go in with my daughter's family to get what I need. She will buy items in bulk and then she will break up and share with me.

Hi. On the cheese crisps, it could be cheaper to make your own when the oven is already on.

Thanks for another great shopping video!
What can I say Janice, you help your viewers save so much money. We are getting closer to the kitchen😮

love how you break things down to oz.
I really love your grocery shopping haul videos. I have learned a lot from watching your videos. Thank you for sharing these videos with us.

Yeah, I knew I was saving money, but I never did set aside the time to actually tally the savings. I find it so interesting! :)

Just want to say how much you are appreciated! I have changed the way that I shop because of you, so thank you!
Oh, that makes me so happy! Glad to be a help! 💕
Just don’t use as much of the laundry detergent. The recommended amount to use is just like a tablespoon not a full cup.
Great deals !!
I love these video's
Great haul
I buy zero carb Street taco size tortilla from kroger when they are bogo. I stock up because they freeze so well!
Good to know! I'm not familiar with those but I'll keep an eye out for them! 😁
She wants a happy meal!!

You can make the Parmesan crisps by grating little piles onto a baking mat and bake.
Janice, you might want to explain to the people how you come up with the cost per ounce or by the sheet or something like that some people may not know how to do that
Divide the cost of the item by number of ounces.
Janice I live watching how excited you get when you find and purchase a good deal. You are priceless lady, love to you and family
Nice haul! Rebecka is so adorable!
she sounds like she is saying hobby lobby lol hugssssss
My husband uses syrup like water. He is getting the cheap stuff. Lol!
You should get a pressure canner. You would save alot on buying canned chicken.

Your research benefits us all. Don’t beat yourself up over 2 cents per unit ❤
Can the meat that you get. Shelf stable no freezer room used
If you get a good deal on ground beef, just can it.

No, we've not eaten pork since 2017, but we love the turkey and beef alternatives! :)
Sounded to me like baby girl wanted to go to Hobby Lobby 😊

Do you have a Costco near you.? I am from Brisbane Australia…
Nope, no Costco around here! We do have two Sam's Clubs in our area, but that's the closest thing we have to a Costco. 🙂
time to get another freezer lol hugssssss
My clothes don't get really soiled. Back in the day, I started using half as much detergent as it called for. Never use as much as it calls for 30 years later. Clothes are clean and fresh.
Hey Janice, Great haul. Rebecca is so sweet.
I am so glad you look and sound like you feel better.
Pressure can the deer raw pack. It is awesome this way. Then you can still get the meat sales😋
Thanks for sharing your haul and all the prices!!
We only have Costco here. But it saves us so much money to shop in bulk!
Love the comparisons
Your absolutely amazing Janice ❤️❤️❤️🌷
I'm 68 years old and live a lonel .So I will go in with my daughter's family to get what I need. She will buy items in bulk and then she will break up and share with me.
That's a great idea! :)
Funny to you I'm sure but my husband and I buy 2 Aldi tp and it lasts us a year
Yeah, we require a bit more than that around here! :)
Wonderful haul ! 😍
Was she saying Hobby Lobby??? That’s what I heard!!
Maybe! :)
Have a blessed day
🛒 great shopping Janice 😊
Isn't the laundrydetergent 'thing' the same for the toiletpaper/ kitchen paper you buy? In my experience not every towel or sheet is the same size, so comparing the square feet can give you a wrong price, to compare with as to comparing the amount of towels or sheets. I hope you understand what I mean. Good luck on the deerhunt! Are you gonna make a video on the butchering?
I like shredding potatoes in my food processor and dehydrating them for hash browns
I love Sams maple syrup too. I gotta go probably on Friday
I like you video
Love your videos. I'm curious...I know you raise meat birds, buy a whole cow & have deer meat, but do you buy or raise pork.
They've said they don't eat pork.
No, we stopped eating pork in 2017, but even before then, we never did raise our own. We did have a local source for pork back then though. 🙂
Janice I love watching you get so happy I have started looking at prices more then ever thanks ❤
Hello from your family
Always enjoy the sales videos!
Great Deals as always! I hope you show some of your venison meals and recipes!
I just subscribed. I love your family. The children are all so lovely.
Thank you so much! We all so very glad to have you here! :)
Janice, you've turned me into a woman thst figures ounces. I've never done that. Lol.
I love and appreciate you.
🤗 Oh Carol, you make me smile! I love that you're figuring up the cost breakdown! :)
Wonderful video. Would love it if Janice would be kind and do a video of how she does the math for the items she buys for those of us that are math impared. Thanks 😊
That's a good idea! Thank you! 🥰
If you could with all your knowledge tell us what NOT to buy at Sam’s etc!
