I used to like Madonna's weird techno phase which included this song... and to hear it through a Brit rock style is a revelation to me
If you pay close attention to the original song its a hommage to the 60s brit sound (more specifically the beatles) under that techno layer. Cheers

Honestly, I love the original Madonna version of this song, but this group even gives her original a run for its money!
Nah... this guy has a nice voice, but this version is missing all the beautifully trippy ear-candy guitar lines.
The drumming is also a bit monotonous and lagging behind the beat. It kinda detracts from the whole thing.

This could have been recorded by Jesus Jones in 1990, yet they sound more contemporary then anything else right now.
the plot twist of this band covering a madonna song and sounding like Oasis.
They don't sound sound like Oasis, they do have that Manchester sound, go check out the band Puressence. (split up now)
They don't sound anything like Oasis...unless you're taking in account unreleased pre Definitely Maybe songs like "See the Sun" and "Colour my life" from the time that Oasis were trying to figure out their sound...they sounded a bit too much like the Stone Roses when they started.
This song does remind me of "How soon is now" by the Smiths!

They sound more like Shed Seven, a really underrated Manchester band from the 90s,very much like the Stone Roses.

I know it fits the style of the band, but I'd like to hear this with the tempo at 1.25
People claiming this version is better than the original just bc it's sang by a popstar. You seriously need to hear the original's instrumental to realize how fucking brilliant it is. This version is great but monotonous compared to the other one. ( again I like both but being honest this one is less special )
They took this song, ostensibly country, and gave it that nice shoegaze Madchester early twist to it. Very Charlatans meets early Verve/Ride/even aspects of Blur's leisure.

It was co-written by William Orbit as a psychedelic pop song. Not surprising it's now a psychedelic indie song. Next on their list: Black Coffee by All Saints.

These ain't on the same level as The Smiths. They've got to release 4 of the best albums of the last 50 years to be up with them!!! Morrissey is the best lyricist music has ever seen IMO..MCFC M20.

I love the intro but the track blands out and I feel looses it's way in the middle. It doesn't retain the relentless feel of the Madonna original.
I would suggest upping the tempo and having heavier drums and distortion.

brilliant cover better than the original just sounds right usually when I hear a cover I can hear the original in the back of my head along side it but this pushes the original out and smashes it 👌
