I’m new to detecting. I’ve got a BH Tracker Pro. I have a question 🙋‍♂️ Is the swinging action required to get a signal. Meaning once I detect something by swinging over it, will I get a tone just by holding the detector over the area where I think the object is? Thanks Dave

You have to have motion. So, no if you hold the detector motionless over a metal target you will not get a signal.
