@@thehuntergt Have you seen the junior TID? Is it as good as the OG junior? I like that it has some level of target ID, I don't like the overtly kid friendly design.
Looking out for something for son / mom / grandma to use to join in the fun. Son is only 2 now, so he's more into playing with the shovel just at the moment.
@@qmriis Yes I have a review of it as well. The normal Jr. is way better in separation and recovery speed. The new TID is deeper and has a better ID on targets.

Great video. Very helpful to get my son's detector set up. Might even make a sticker for the eliminator knob area showing where the dial should be pointed to help my son.
Glad to help. Great little detector. It will actually hit small stony meteorites that other top end detectors totally miss. Impressive machine for sure.

I just got it and put new batteries in. Nothing but chattering. When I put the detector directly on metal I get nothing. Any idea why?

That little dude has some serious recovery speed!
The analog 6.6khz BH detectors are blazing fast. Kind of blew me away when I first tested it and the Gold Digger. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I dunno. My Bounty hunter picks up nails etc even on the biggest elimination setting 🤦♂️🤦♂️. Not that I’m worried. I dig every thing!! Living in an old mining area it’s amazing what you pull out of the soil. I thoroughly recommend this little beauty!! 👍👍

So the power knob has variable power? I'm an idiot, I thought it controlled the audio level of the indicator.
Yes - the power knob will control the depth. It "may" control the gain as well for audio...not 100% on that.
@@thehuntergt I kept "turning it down" thinking it controlled the volume lol. Maybe that's why we didn't find anything yesterday lol

looks like a great machine. very similar to the Bounty Hunter Gold Digger. When is the whole family getting out to do a live dig and competition? Hopefully soon. GL and HH. Eric

Nothing wrong with that...it can still find the goods. One great find and you won't be poor anymore! Never give up.
@@thehuntergt yeah it has a few cracks in the plastic that adjusts it, but it still works!

My sons isn't beeping but is moving the needle is it the battery?
Make sure the discrimination knob is turned left... sensitivity turned right. If no sound definitely an issue.
Check you have 2 batteries and not just one connected.
Thanks for this one of the batteries connection (where wires meet 9volt clip) is messed up working on replacing it probably from them falling when we changed them last.
can you use in 1ft water?
No...coil is weather resistant and not waterproof
