The cam for arm travel is in "PLAY" position. That's why it doesn't switch off. Second fault is that it doesn't trip the gear for the lift at the end of the record. This mechanic is very tricky! Can the arm between the two coils be moved easily from side to side?
I had it repaired last week. It started with the mechanism stopping after playing a record. Arm lifted off, moved a little bit back and stopped dead. Motor still running. The only way to get the record off, was to force the arm(s) back, terrible. I then could open it up. I played a few records after the repair and... the issue reoccurred! Back at the repair shop (B&O certified)😪

Trying to fix a TX-2 at the moment, looks identical on the insides.
Issue found. One of the teeth on the center cog is broken off! Searching for replacement...
Can you get Donar machine take parts
No new cog found but used a washer to make the cog sit a bit higher. It is so old, it shrunk and did not catch properly anymore.
I own a Beogram 4000, and I will like to know if some can repair it ?
COG CAN BE REPAIRED , search youtube for plastic cog repair not that difficult .
