@@tionne1341 don’t be afraid dying from childbirth is very rare it’s a very low possibility But it still hurts like hell so likely you’ll still be screaming your lungs out but on the other hand could use epidural where they put the shot in your spine and everything from the waist down is completely numb Then it won’t hurt but it won’t make the task any easier because with or without the pain giving birth is something the woman needs to have all her strength with But then there’s always the C-section where they can surgically remove the child But dying from Childbirth is very very rare don’t need to be afraid of that

Why do so many people hate this movie? I love Kevin Smith and when I saw this movie, I thought it was gonna be bad myself, but then realizing this is so good, when this scene came on I broke down in tears.

This was sad to see the mom passing away. After watching this scene I want children but I'm scared it will happen to me. My grandma also died in a hospital in front of my face so after that and watching this movie I'm afraid of hospitals. I think Ollie blamed the baby for his wife death.

Most hospitals will epidural to stop the pain completely. childbirth is one of the most observed and well known medical procedures in the world and even medical practices and processes from 30s,40s ensured childbirth was successful. Basically childbirth is safe and the chances of something going terribly wrong has been eliminated or skimmed down to the point that it’s irrelevant.
It's very very hard. he has lost the love of his life and now he has to be both mom and dad to his daughter. and, how will he answer questions about her mother asked by his daughter without getting emotional? and how will he feel when he sees others happily with their wives? and how will his daughter feel when she sees other children with their moms? it is a very very tough situation
I'm not even sure Ollie was ready to be a dad in the first place. Even if Gertie didn't have a brain aneurysm at all, he would have been just as absent as he was until Gertie left him and his dad finally had enough and stood up to him. She went for gas and passed away while the car was being filled.
The doctors wouldn’t listen to her . technically they killed her . she should’ve taken a break , and they didn’t let her , she wore herself out . When the doctors don’t let them rest they have aneurysms from pushing too hard and straining them selves
Aneurysms have no symptoms and there's no way they could've known about it. Unless they found it previously, she was scheduled for a natural birth. In the event a mother has a pre-existing aneurysm a C-section is scheduled.
