About Jersey Girl:
Ollie (Ben Affleck) is a smooth and successful big-city publicist who has the life he's always wanted, until things take an unexpected turn and he finds himself an unemployed single father back living with his dad (George Carlin) in the suburbs. You too? I had NO idea what Sweeny Todd was about! I just thought it was SO cute hearing Liv Tyler sing "Mrs. Lovett's meatpies", and I would call the meat pies "Mrs. Lovett's meatpies" at the local convenience store and get some of the most weird looks! I had no idea they were cannibals! LMAO Raquel Castro was so good singing her lines!

Whats wrong with what he's doing now? Cleaning the streets and shoveling snow may not be the most luxurious job but at least he is getting a pension. Mostly important, this job allows him to spend time with his daughter where his last job, like it showed in the begining would've not allowed him spend enough time with her.
It was about ego and living in the lap of luxury. He felt that job was beneath him. Watch the whole movie, one of Kevin Smith’s best (even if the critics don’t agree).
@@Handlethis81637 I did watch the whole movie. I understand why he wants to give go back to his previous career, it was what he did best. He enjoyed the life and the fortune it gave him, but when he became a single father, he couldn't do his job since there was alot of demand and not performing those duties would not let him enjoy the lifestyle he was given. Despite the job he got later wasn't as fulfilling as his previous job, at least it allowed him to be around his daughter more and have the close bond that they have in the movie. When he was offered to go back his previous job it briefly tore their relationship apart, which is what would've happened much earlier if he stayed in his previous career.
Ben Affleck is so bad in this movie. It's crazy how much better he is now. George Carlin's line "The 'Cats' is a show?", is also delivered pretty poorly. Maybe the director was bad.
