    1. Feedback; creat environment where feedback is welcome and encouraged
    2. Pranks

    4. Humor
    5. Music
    6. Hire and keep people who fit the culture
    7. Add your personality into it and show it, things that are you, show it.
    8. Initiation process
    9. Monthly contests with prizes
    10. Invest into people like training or talks, bring something to the field force
    11. Read together, like a monthly book club
    12. Create Incentives
    13. Celebrate birthdays together, sing and surprise them
    14. Send cards to people; they average 30k a year
    15. Emotion, emotion, emotion; find out the hopes and dreams of your workers and what they want and goals, financially too, this helps you create
    16. Don’t be lopsided on gender, like trying purposely create an only guy or women environment, and you must balance needs of both groups
    17. Surprise your team, like bringing massive therapist to the office or great events, bonding
    18. Get to know your people; don’t create an “I am better than you because of my position”
    19. Turn your guys into heros; recognition for hard work
    20. Allow for crazy things; like winning Guinness record, doing a flash mob, videos together, etc. have fun with people you’re working with
    21. Accountability/call out, everyone has to pull their weight, everyone to call out everyone as it effects everyone
    22. High standards; no one ever succeeds with low standards, know what you’re doing, clean, etc.
    23. Send gifts, specialized and have fun with them
    24. Funky friday; Dress codes for fun

I'm trying to start a reading culture for mine. The reason being is i want everyone to be on my level so that we can bounce ideas off each other and so i'm spending less time trying to explain a concept and more time planning a strategy :) i've also started a culture with your videos. Every day i will be sharing one of your videos that relates to what we need to do now in the business. Of course, i am watching more than one as you can tell by the barrage of comments i leave but i want them to learn and improve constantly. Our mission statement that we discussed is to "nurture success". That is what is at the heart of our company and so self improvement will be important to us as we develop.

Great advice, especially for someone who is building a team at a young age because we get to grow with the culture. The question I have is this; Knowing that we have to take "risks" in order to grow, how careful should I be about picking the right people at first? Thank you.

Hey Pat! I have being watching your content and is amazing, plus I use it almost daily to do stuff I need to do at work and in my personal life top. What would you recommend when it comes to the organisations structure? I think culture is got tp be build over the company's structure, otherwise is very hard for people to have fun if they do not know what they are expected to do or achieve in order to meet the company's goals for them. And thank you for all the content it has helped me lots!

Hi there, had a question about something I've been struggling with. How do you hold your boss accountable? I am currently working as the marketing and operations manager for my husband's Real Estate Group. He is a top producer and does really well but we want to go to the next level. Our team is growing and expanding. But in order for us to go to the next level some changes need to happen. We set up meetings or certain procedures but he doesn't necessarily follow them. I'm having a hard time getting him to make the change from sales person to a running the business. Help...

I generally take couple of team members (random pick) to a lunch and chat with them on a regular basis. Some time, i call them to join the lunch with their family members and kids. Taking food with your own team members will give more connect to their personal level. I run a software development company.

I'll hardly sit through a 10-15 minute TH-cam video, but this was so good Patrick, stayed for the whole thing. Such a good video.

The more slowly and distinctly someone talks, the higher the speed you can play the video. I played the last Patrick Bet-David video at 1.75x

Thank you Patrick and team for the amazing, valuable content you provide to entrepreneurs! I found you 2 days ago and have been watching all your videos. Keep up the great work. When I build my first company, I likely will have virtual staff - and there are tons of great ways you mentioned to help with virtual employees...cards, gifts, contests. Actually, employee interaction/engagement becomes super important with virtual employees. THANK YOU for the 2 book suggestions. They are on my reading list :-)
