I'm finding it hard just to get passed 5 hours. It looks incredible but the world feels lifeless and dull, no npcs except for an enemy patrol every 300 feet.

im an Mongolian and i really love this game , they really showed the beauty of Tsushima with its culture with my culture too , really did a great job but one thing i wish that is hope they show some friendly Mongols because the ones that are in Tsushima are just soldiers following order like Sakai's father did in Iki island
canon ending is the one when you spare jin's uncle and im glad they decided to settle on that because he could come back in the next game either hunting jin or making amends with jin.

I think that's the only direction to go, since it fits Jin. I don't think he would ever kill him in that situation. And his answer is perfect and fitting to the story.
Sequels to Games that have multiple endings should have a playable prologue for the ending of the first game. After the prologue the game begins as if you never played the first game but in some way connects to the first. If this makes sense.
imagine the shogun trying to send an army to destroy the ghost, the last member of the sakai "clan", but the jin in his spare time had a son who he trained with all his techniques, the shogun's army was able to kill the jin( would be more impactful, but could be 'snatched') and Jin's son was on a journey of revenge against 'all' of Japan and of course the Shoguns
I’m mostly happy that Jin Sakai is likely to remain the main character. There were some especially annoying people demanding that Tomoe replace him for literally no other reason than they wanted a female protagonist, which normally I’m fine with if it doesn’t completely interrupt an ongoing story.
i strongly presume that it will continue shortly after where the first one left off, where lord shimura stated that "the ghost" will be hunted for the rest of his days which means you'll be fighting the japanese, i think this part is unlikely but i belive they might bring in new weapons such as a naginata and a kanabo in a way to keep stances fresh
Id like ghost of kyoto in the sengoku period, 100 years of war in japan, height of ninja and samurai, plenty of raiders, pirates, bandits, ronin, mercenaries. Have whoever you play as should be jins decendant in a clan he founded.
I would love to be able to have a duel wielding stance of a kind whether it's with the katana and wakazashi or double katanas... and to be able to (un)sheathe a sword from Jin's back but that's very ninja esque.
I personally think that the the options of the final boss (kill or spare) doesnt make any difference the guy will definitely be forced to unalive himself if you choose to spare because of the norm and tradition at the time
Visually what we'll see (I think almost guaranteed) - Ray traced reflections - Much better textures on mud, rocks, grass etc. - Many new animations (maybe some reused too though) - Much better facial animations and detail - New blood (similar to TLOU2 where it actually pours in real time on walls etc) and also grass here. - Completely rehauled water (similar to Horizon 1 vs Horizon) I also think the release of Ghost 2 will be in July 2025 (Exactly 5 years since the first one) and Death Stranding 2 will be in late april or early may.
Since the 2nd game would take place years later, it wouldn't matter if the last boss was sparred or not, as the boss could've died from the wounds later on. If I was the writer for the second game I would just mentioned he passed and not include him except in flashbacks making it so the first game has no definitive ending. Allowing players to think that their choice was the right choice, while still making the second games story make sense.
Just so y’all know when y’all kill the boss at the end of the game regardless of if you kill him or spare him he still dies. I remember doing free roam and running into two npc’s talking about him dying from getting sick. Him dying is definitely the canon ending.
I feel like spare lord is probably the ending that would be carried over to the next game. in many games, spareable characters usually stay alive so there can be more rooms for story development.
The second mongol invasion happens like 7 years after the first. They'd have to age Sakai quite a bit. Or have another "ghost" character. Either way, im definitely looking forward to it!
They're both entirely different games, set in 3 centuries apart from eachother, and one game is designed for stealth, and the other is a story driven game
How cool would it be if instead of making Ghost of Tsushima 2, Sucker Punch made like a “Warrior” trilogy. And made a game where you play a Viking in Norway/England and then a Spartan in Greece. And in the Viking game you play as the raider as opposed to the ‘liberator’ like Jin. I would much prefer that.
It will be the birth if the ninja in the second game showing how the origins of being a ninja was originally created and showing off how the organisation expanded. Amd how that played in to the war with the Mongolian army aswel as South Korea and China

I hope they expand on grappling hook gameplay and polish the movement. Introduce waiting/ resting at the camps and improve stealth detection! overall It's such a beautiful game so relaxing. 4 years wait for PC was worth the wait!
I was thinking jin would be some sort of shinobi leaving behind his samurai way or we could say the birth of the forerunner of the ninja, since tushima happened in 1274 and based on history early ninja activity happened in 1336-1392
I’m hoping in GoT2 Jin and Yuna are together with a family, and they have their own clan of ghosts. And that the return of the Mongols will Forces Jin’s uncle to have to recognize Jin’s new clan and employ them with their shinobi tactics.

It doesn't get more edgy than that lol. And furthermore Jin basically sacrificed his morality for Yuna's sake. It's really not that far a stretch that he did it for that reason lol.

You’re right but, Jin doesn’t care about the Samurai code or honor by the time the game ends. After everything he’s went through, he’s going to make his own decisions.
Shimura has to learn that honor cannot be taken by someone else than yourself Jin lost that honor by himself to save innocents, noone could ever take it from him

Literally the ONLY complaint I have with this game is dismemberment. If Jedi Survivor allows it, Im hoping the sequel will at least give us the option to turn it ON
It would be cool if you could choose to play as a male or female and have lots of different outfits. The replay would be awesome. I don’t like multiplayer but the characters in that was awesome!

I just played it on pc just finished it 100% and im lost for words. I would definetly buy a ps5 pro for ghost 2. The only game i have actually cried.

Jin Sakai said he would not kill the last of his family. Jin does not concern or burden himself with honour and as he says, he has no honour.
