What an absolutely perfect day to land and stay the night, there are not that many days in the year that a cub would not be blown off this spot I have lived in Alaska for 53 years and my life has been Aviation its all I have ever done 23 year in Helicopters and Dean you make a airplane do almost what a Helicopter can do thank you for lets us Travel along with you. Please dont let anyone tell you it is bad
Thank the Lord for cameras & drones to allow us geezers (and state-side pukers) to enjoy the experiences of the Alaskan Jeep drivers' many adventures. Great times to celebrate those skillful young men who fly this State. Thanks ja3dean. Haven't enjoyed videos since I used to 'dog fight' cubs in my youth in a rented Citabria in the Kenai Mountains near Skilak.
Yeh, I only got 4 hours sleep. I Could sleep through Calving events but the (higher up?) Ice cracking truly sounds like a shotgun going off. None of those bangs are in video. But Yes those woke me up, Only 2-3 of them over night though.
