    Your video achieved in minutes what 2 hours of frustration did not. Thank you!

    the power bar is not flashing, though it is on. The light is on, I have the long power bar, I have tried to use this before, but I was confused and I think I broke it. Help pls
    Just to clear it up,
    im trying to connect it but its not flashing its on, the light is on but not flashing.
    Edit : I got the big button that could be pressed to be flashing slowly, not too slow though. Its more of a moderate speed. Its not quick like shown, but not slow like shown. I refer to the app when I saw shown btw.

    great review! I like the lights they have so I am really interested in these too for turning the heater on and off during the winter! :)

      Thanks for watching!
      I've been very happy with the single Outlet controllers. However the multi-outlet strip has been finicky for me so far. It went offline once and I had to re-register it. :-)

    How many watts does it use while is off on average?

    • @NetworkAdvisor
      @NetworkAdvisor  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      not sure exactly, but it's got to be super low. If it was more than 0.5 W, I'd be surprised.

    The spot round plugs could I use them on multiple phones? I got one for my church to use and wondering if I could use it both on my phone and someone else's phone?

      you know, I don't know if two different people can run the Geeni app and address the same set of SPOTs. But, this might help. I've noticed that I see the GEENI products in my Google Home app.... so, I'm pretty sure more than one person can show a single "home". just and idea. :-)

    So the plug works on my 1st TV but on my second TV it turns it on in standby bye mode won't actually turn on the screen...is there a trick or an update fix

    • @NetworkAdvisor
      @NetworkAdvisor  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh, i guess the TV software (or setting would determine whether to come on in Standby or fully turn-on once it senses power in the outlet. Interesting... hadn’t thought about that. 🤔

    Is there one for a 220v ? I need one for an electric stove that i’m afraid they might forget to turn off every once in a while

      I really don’t know. But if Geeni didn’t make one, I am sure it’s out there by some other brand.

    These devices are not UL Underwriter's approval. I wonder how important about safety is that?
    What is the max amperage these will handle?

    I can't get it to work outside of my home. Is this even possible?

    • @NetworkAdvisor
      @NetworkAdvisor  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nancy, i can control my smart outlet from anywhere using the app (so long as I have internet access).
      I wonder if you could have some kind of security restrictions on your router.

    This product is absolute garbage imo
    Edit:
    It wasn’t connecting for me at all. Was 10 feet to my wifi router. I tried multiple ways and times to connect but no success. It would always timeout. The fix? I changed plugs, went and plugged in a different outlet farther from the wifi router and it synced. I then went and re plugged the geeni in the original outlet and it worked as I had originally hoped.

      I can understand if you’re having a bad experience. Sometimes it goes like that. Personally, I’ve had good luck with these and find them useful. Thanks for watching and commenting 😊
