The app that finally worked for me was Cloud Intelligence. I could not get Smart Life to work. My light also didn't seem to blink "fast" as his in the video. Once in the Cloud Intelligence app you just hit the + in the top right, while the outlet is blinking and mine connected within 5 seconds. After connected I was also able to update the outlet version but it seemed to get stuck loading. I backed out and refreshed the device page to see that it seemed to have completed the update anyways. Hope this helps someone!
I was using the Cloud Intelligence for a while, but yesterday stopped working the sync with Alexa and I can't seem to work them together anymore... Do you use your plugs integrated with Alexa? Is it still working?
Plug worked great with cloud intelligence. I can turn them on and off perfectly. I had Alexa work with these with no issues for at least 2 years. Suddenly, Alexa stopped recognizing all of them and could no longer get her to recognize them anymore.. Yet, cloud intelligence still sees and controls them. Very frustrating.
Same with mine! I did call Alexa's help' and she said they were aware of this issue, and this issue was "on their end." Cloud Intelligence works perfectly, need it paired again with Alexa. Don't know what to do at this point in time.
@@HighTechCheck I have..it allows me to connect one but when I connect the second one it deletes the first..I tried to connect as a group but it doesnt allow me either
I know it’s 2 years later but any idea how to pair this plug with Alexa? I have the smart life app linked to Alexa and I can control the plug in the smart life app but Alexa won’t discover this plug. Any idea?
This is by far the most trouble I’ve ever had with a smart outlet. I downloaded smart life, cloud intelligence and ifttt now and none of them work. To top that, there is literally nothing on the internet for support.
@@monkeyranch1325 exactly my problem. It just refuses to connect and there’s no way to troubleshoot it. I’m only 11 so maybe I could be doing something wrong but as far as all the guides I’ve watched that throughly explained it I’ve done it right.
If you only have one network name, then your router is using both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, and your swich should see the 2.4 GHz just fine - it doesn't care about 5 GHz at all, and can't see it. The problem is that the setup app sees 5 GHz and panics, so you need to set it up FAR away from the modem, so your phone connects to 2.4 GHz instead.
Agreed! When I have the paperwork it came with and the Computer intelligence app I got them to work and it as ok. But let them sit for 6 months and now they are a paper weight. Plus this guy is long winded and skips steps.

Stay away from it if you want to use with Smart Life app. The old version worked well, but not the 2023 version.
THANK YOU SO MUCH OH MY GOD
Would have been nice if you mentioned the app needed. ✌️
Oh boy, seriously?
Look his phone screen at 3:15 - 3:35 of the video showing Smart Life app.
Also the plug doesn’t blink fast it blinks at a slow rate
I'm very frustrated with these Esicoo Plugs---they just are not connecting---are they any good????
Mine didn’t connect. Most likely and compatible with router
No they suck
Any luck ever getting them to connect? I can’t get them to do $h!t.
@@kristenwilliams6709 I could only get them to work using the code that came with the instructions.

The model number on this is YX-WS01 and it says “MINI SMART SOCKET” on the back.
at 4:11, something VERY iffy about entering your wifi password within a chinese built app.
Plugged mine in with cloud intelligence pretty easy

Hold in the power button until the blue light blinks, then pair with the smart life app then the Alexa app should see it. I know it’s a pita
these plugs of this model will work on 120v ac 10 amp max
Whenever I try to connect my smart life account to Alexa is says it doesn’t exist, can you help?

Just "upgraded" to smart modem/router, so I can't switch to 2.4ghz - will these smart plugs still work on 5G?

These videos are great, but we don't need or want to know how smart you are, just how to set it up. Which app do I use things like that
These are trash, do not buy them.
