I wasn’t familiar with The Blue Nile until you played it for me years ago and they are wonderful. It’s nice when these gems are found in the most unlikely places by people like Swift you didn’t expect to know about them.
The comments on down town lights youtube video are flooded by swifties now😂 i guess harry styles also said in an interview with apple music he has downtown lights on his playlist as well so this generations pop stars are doing their homework. I myself have been drowning in a blue nile since ttpd came out😅
The blue nile’s a walk across the rooftops is one the best 80’s albums, definitely in my top 5. And Taylor Swift’s music sucks. Appreciate your video though, interesting reference.

I saw The Blue Nile at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall in the early 90's. Hats is a masterpiece, and I'm glad you enjoy listening to them.
Lucky you! I had tickets to see them in the late 90’s in NY but they canceled the tour due a death in the family. They never rescheduled.
