My advice would be to see which one of these is the positive and negative by taking a look at the cigarette lighter. If you Google a diagram of a cigarette lighter you will find out which is the negative and positive pole.
Might depend on your state and if the cops are bored. Technically the multicolored ones might be illegal, but the warm white or pure white ones should be fine
