Pro tip! If the resistors get hot enough to melt plastic. They will melt the double sticky tape. The tape also prevents heat transfer. Do it right and mount them to the metal with nuts and bolts.
Great video as always. I would be hard pressed to think the double sided tape will hold because of the heat these produce. Should have put one screw in there to make sure they stay put.
instead of resistor for hyperflash , use a LED relay replacement for the turn signals. they sell these replacement relays at oreilys for 18usd. swap the turn signal relay under the dash , no need for wire splicing and no hot resistors to cool
Can you do a walkthrough on your truck for people including me lol that want a H3 or H2 what you do to the truck. My H2 I loved but I problems constantly with water linking, HVAC not working, and random other issues. Looking to pick up an H3 as a camping truck. Idk were to start.
Great channel and videos! I have a 2008 H3 Alpha, purchased new. Time for upgrades, however I am having difficulty locating aftermarket parts, lift kits, etc. The hummer you have featured in this video would make a good spotlight to review where you have sourced all the goodies on it in one place. Thanx!
Always doing some great video’s, thanks for posting. I like your ideas and tricks. I have been looking to converting something with my taillights. But I have a H3T have you heard of any type of conversions? I have tinted my taillights. I’m looking at using a different brand from different type vehicle. Maybe the new version of Hummer taillights. I’m like you looking for better improvements.
Great video! Could we get an explanation on the production numbers for the H3s in general. I recently bought a 2009 H3T Alpha Adventure and and seeing lots of conflicting production numbers on them. I heard every thing from about 2000 made to only 100. Would be interesting to have some solid information on all the models.
You definitely can, but from my testing they are pretty dark lol. If you don't mind the extra work, you can get the clears and put some lighter tint on them yourself then you can have the best of both worlds.
@4lowmode bright dosent really matter....just for the fact I've done the full led conversion like we all have. But I also added the front pillar light mounts....and the front hidden led bar...so I have plenty of light
I'm not a fan of white DRL I like the orange from the 90s early 2000s I thought you were going to just run the white but when you put that orange film it literally made my day haha great video im doing my research for when I get an h3
Appreciate you and your channel. About to purchase an 2007 H2. My question is do all of your changes, tips and tricks you do to your H3 basically apply the same way to an H2? Or, is there vast differences in both vehicles? Such as bumpers, lights, wheel wells etc?
Some of them do. The H2 does already come with 7in round headlights, so no adapter is needed like you need with the H3. You can also get these same style LED turn signals for the H3. Also for the H2 they got rear LED turn signals that look like Hummer EV tail lights which is sweet.
Hi friend, would you have a link to the fender flares to send me? Like the black plugs that are on that gray hummer at the end of the video? tks for the video, cool!
My factory roof light bar blew off on the highway, now I want to put the 3 middle lights back over the windshield. I cannot find the factory mount strip so what options do I have?
Hey also are you still making the video about your screen that you installed? I know editing takes a lot of time man but really want to see that one when you can 😅🍻
That's on my list of things to do! 😃 If I do a video on that, I'm probably not going to be super detailed because my set up is kind of unique to me and not everyone is going to want exactly what I have, but I think it would make a good showcase video to show my ideas for what a modern headunit setup looks like and does.
I love your video's, wish there were more. I have a beautiful black H3 SUT sitting under a cover for years now with a spun bearing. You should take it away from me and do something cool with it.
All your video is very useful and helps us a lot Can you activate the translation service in the video so that we can understand you better? Greetings to you from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
Nice tips, but buying from China can be iffy when you run into problems down the road. These lights look cool, but not adding a built in resistor like the I PCW is a real weak point in design and execution. My IPCW turn signals have been working perfectly now for over 7 years, no outages and no problems and they are reachable in California if you need help
That bumper is from Road Armor. They are huge aftermarket steel bumper manufacturer. They did make this bumper specifically for the H3, but it looks as if they no longer offer it on their website. I am sure if you were to call them they would still have the design laying around and could make you one though. Back in the day it costed $2350 but that was in the 2010s and since then the price of steel has gone up. So I could imagine price could be somewhere in the $3000 to $4000 range. These bumpers are very rare to see on H3s. I think I have only seen this bumper on like 3 or 4 other H3s. Back when Road Armor developed this bumper for the H3, they showcased it on the hummer forums and everyone immediately complained it was too expensive, so for that reason not that many people bought them. Road Armor's main customer demographic is owners of brand new pickup trucks and jeeps. You see these bumpers on a lot of $100K+ show trucks and high dollar offroad builds. There is just not a lot of H3s out there in general and far less who are willing to spend that kind of money on a bumper since the most H3s have a market value of somewhere around $7K to $25K depending on condition and spec so not a lot of H3 owners bought them. That being said, it is an awesome bumper and probably the most well built and good looking aftermarket bumpers out there.
I have questions for you about getting an H3, want to join the hummer community, have a gear of the 3.7I5, maybe a conversation with you will dispell my fears, is there a way we can have a conversation?
That is the Thor Parts Gen 2 bumper from Thor Parts. I think there is still are still a few for sale on the website thorparts.com. They are $1500 new but you got to contact them and ask.
The SA H3 has an additional parking light on the bottom of the turn signal lens so you won't be able to use that bulb any more because there is no hole on the bottom of the lens for that bulb.

Yes they do. Same concept however I don't know if they are sequential like these in the video. However I do know that they are switchback. If you just search it up on Amazon you'll find them for the H2.
Correct, the full brightness of the turn signal needs to be illuminated at the time you make the signal. The animation is essentially a fade out effect.
They can, but the problem is that the SA models actually have any additional parking light on them at the bottom of the turn signal lens, so you won't be able to plug that light back in because there is no hole for it.

I prefer the way he did it
Thank you so much for taking the time to make the videos. Not much out there for H3 stuff so it's much appreciated!
Thanks for watching!
This is the best channel on TH-cam about Hammer H3 👏👏👏
Thank you 🙏
Thanks for watching!
I like watching your videos because they’re actually informative about the H3. Thank you for being here for us with these H3 videos ❤❤
TY - Ordered lights and orange tint, be here Friday- great timing, gonna do the headlights this weekend
They look awesome! I personally like the original amber look vs the clears ones!
Awesome video, I’m glad I didn’t get the older ones. You’re content is such a great help brother. 🍻💯
Yep the old options still look good, but the technology they are using is a decade old now so it doesn't have what modern cars have these days.
Thoroughly enjoyed this upload... Thumbs up from me as usual Brother... Stay safe... Rico
Thanks man! I appreciate you watching! 😃
Great video as always. I would be hard pressed to think the double sided tape will hold because of the heat these produce. Should have put one screw in there to make sure they stay put.
Yep that would work as well!
instead of resistor for hyperflash , use a LED relay replacement for the turn signals. they sell these replacement relays at oreilys for 18usd. swap the turn signal relay under the dash , no need for wire splicing and no hot resistors to cool
Everytying I have read is the relay for the Hummer H3 is in the BMC , can't be easily switched out
Looks really good, you are right about a modern look!! I'm going to look and see if they make them for H2's. I like the amber look to!
I know they got a similar style that are switchback. I am not sure if they have sequential functionality though like these.
Great video as always i will be ordering a set of these soon Thanks for sharing
I really love mine! Was never really a fan of the previous LED turn signals you could get on the H3, but these look awesome.
I like the off road bumper looks really good on H3 where you got it from?
i like the way u make your videos.. really informative and exciting to watch
Great video and explanation like always, the turn lights look amazing 🙌🏻 Now this is my next project 💪🏻 Thanks!
Glad you found it useful! I am really loving my new turn signals!

What headlights is on your friend's Hummer? GREAT VIDEO BTW. Bro, you are the best on TH-cam...there's no close second.
I just seen those. Was thinking of getting a pair. I have switchback bulbs in my current clear housing. I want the blacked out like in this video
You definitely can, but from my testing they are pretty dark lol. If you don't mind the extra work, you can get the clears and put some lighter tint on them yourself then you can have the best of both worlds.

Haha yeah I think the white DRL lights are getting a little bit overplayed now, so I kinda like the amber still
Please do a video on updating interior of the h3
Could you give us an overview on the radio upgrade? Dos and don’t. Features. Any aftermarket radios out there that have XM?
Thanks for all The Information. Looks like a Good site . Any New Video. Do you have a video on Water leek’s or Engine care and Mods
Wow, awesome video 👍
Advice pls radio with Apple car play for h3
What kind of tint did the wolf hunter use?
QUESTION
1. where can I find that grill guard?
2. There are no Lift kits out. What do you suggest ?
Love those turn signals! Is there a matching rear light or do you suggest at set for the rear ?
I like the amber tinted turn signals better, bc if you have the oem roof marker it frames out the H3 good at night.
Yeah I agree. I kinda like the original amber look rather than the clear Euro spec look.
How or where may we find OEM roofclearence lights/amber lenses and any other parts!
Lights looks great ✌️✌️
Thanks man I appreciate it! They have the same concept of LED turn signals for the H2 as well!
@@4lowmode yeah i had seen them also look really nice.
Thank you for all the info you pack into your videos cant wait for your next vid

Side mirror to kemimoto??
You would need to make yourself a custom mount to do that
What kind of headlights are those?
The ones on my gray Alpha are the KC Gravity Pros. I actually have a video on my TH-cam channel talking all about them if you want to check it out!

The Hummer EV does it in reverse due to legal regulations, a certain amount of surface area is required to be lit.
