Thanks for creating and sharing this! (Multiple) actual real world examples are extremely important in any learning process because it teaches your brain how to apply concepts to real life, so that when you're faced with actual scenarios, you don't freeze up and understand what to do. This becomes even more important during an interview, where pauses or hesitations can make others think you're unqualified.

Why do companies need a ba why don’t they just analyse themselves

Mostly because organizations are big and complex and everyone who is busy doing the things that generate revenue can't/won't stop generating revenue to analyze how to change things. Especially if those changes have to be vetted through all the data and process of the entire organization. To go even deeper, a person/group can change things to be more efficient for what they do that ultimately impact the rest of the organization negatively. So someone has to have the dedicated time to ensure things are actually going to provide the benefits that are expected organization wide.
