This lady is wonderful- her clarity in communication and ability to break down complex ideas in layman’s terms is music to my ears

Thanks Sarabjit for the informative session on API. I have seen many videos but none could help me understand API in a easy manner as this video does. Once again thanks a lot!

You nailed it. I was trying to understand API and BA relationship and how we should include API in requirement validations. Thanks again

First of I must say I am glade that I found your channel on TH-cam. second I found your choice of BA topics very practical and just the kind of info we need. Great work.👍
Since I was not part of the Facebook group now I have sent request to join. I would like to know more from a BA prospective about API discovery, identification, and documentation as well as API practice/program at a large organization. It may require a new session to cover but i think it will be helpful for BAs. Thank you .

This is informational, however from the user story point of view you mentioned that we need to know the intent, so can you share the example taking the users listing demo that Fakhar showed?

Incase of open source & paid APIs, If we try to add a meaningless information (a new set of junk data) will it go for any authorization from that API product owner ? does it occurs for every new addition transaction ? Pls clarify on how that works ? who validates the newer entries to any API database for data validation, correctness and usability ??

Is there a tech BA out there that can answer some of the api related questions , my projects are creating new endpoints and needing me to write ‘detailed’ jiras but not sure what all I need to provide. Is there a standard template to follow? Also how can one endpoint both fetch some data from table 1 and insert/update the response in another table. What would the r&r structure be for that endpoint?

That was great knowledge sharing on API. I do have a query, when we talk about platform integration like for example our platform connecting with any other platform for data/info the actual integration happens due to API? Right. Also, in the video it is said that web server stores data so do you mean on real time basis we are only shown the data which is available at that point of time but if we wish to do some analysis like what was the price movement at different time slots we will need to integrate API with our database to store data on real time as well? Can you answer to my queries.

Not for technical BA where the job requires you to design API.
