Very nice compositions. I thought I was seeing slider shots at the opening. 50% speed really smooths out the handheld camera movements. Thanks for posting a look at the cameras 1080 res.

Thanks and I am glad that you find it useful. I was trying to find out if this camcorder is able to deliver good 1080 recording. But with it's ability to record 4k in 60p, one no longer need to think hard to decide between 4K/30p or FHD/60p.

I bought a X1500 after viewing your excellent videos. I attach a Nikon narrow strap which works well. You really have to avoid dropping.

Wow, welcome to the club! Lol. Thanks for the compliment. I am just sharing some of my shots and I love watching them. This camcorder isn’t really a consumer model so it needs some tweaking to get the best out of it. However, the auto mode does create decent video thou. I am currently being lockdown due to the pandemic , so will find chance to film as soon as possible.

Oh I see. You’ll be surprised by its macro capability. Its lens can really goes very close. Experiment with the different minimum focusing distance with the different zoom range. Enjoy !

you can see that there is good quality Full HD, but there are not enough static frames of landscapes, since youtube spoils the picture due to the peculiarities of encoding those frames where waves on the water or dynamics with complex lighting (sun-shadows), but you can see that the FullHD quality is high, good resolution.

The in-camera FHD is not too bad, especially in the noise department. In my brief experiment, it's easier to push up those shadows without boosting noise. I think, 10-bit 422 helps. ATW is not so great under such condition. Post adjustment is necessary to make the cuts more consistent. Cine D has very conservative in-camera sharpening at -4. Applying some mild sharpening in post makes the clips much crisper.

I also have such a camera.(X2000) I think this is a camera optimized for 4K. they were much better in your previous posts in 4K. the cinematography work is excellent, but the images evoke the VHS era.

The camcorder has an 1/2.5" 8MP sensor which has just the right number of pixels for 4K. Many other camcorders, especially those 1 inchers, are equipped with 14 to 20MP sensors for oversampling, which deliver sharper and more detailed footages. Personally, I think Panasonic has chosen this chip for better sensitivity and DR instead of using a higher resolution sensor in the same package. Certainly, FHD works will look sharper from down scaling 4K projects. This could be a better workflow.

Detail and FHD are excellent in my opinion, only footage where youtube gets corrupted by encoding, you need static plans to estimate maximum definition, and in my opinion 4K is more detailed here than in many much larger matrix cameras.

Nice video. Can you attach a neck strap?

Hi, it's possible to share the latches of the hand strap, but I am afraid, it's too big and will look clumsy.
