You may already know us. We're the same weirdos as The Siren's Log where we dive, fish, sail and are currently looking for our future sailboat. We had a short run of videos go viral and gained a good share of subscribers rather quickly, and then every time that we'd do a VW videos after that, we actually lost some of you. We realized that there was no reason why we souldn't share our unexpected VW reality over here with you, but only to the ones of you who love it. So here we are. Another VW Channel. A good ol spin-off from The Siren's Log.
In this weeks episode, we went to the annual FREEZE YOUR A$$ OFF camping trip here in Florida, and we DID. Our 1973 Volkswagen Bus now has the batteries and inverter system in it, so we're using the electricity for heat and power!

I drive a 1978 VW Camper Bus in Sheridan, Wyoming so naturally I had to take a look at your channel. I left Texas in 1990, to escape the heat and humidity. Even though I grew up in Texas, I’d rather freeze to death than burn to death. My daughter and her family moved to Florida to escape the snow and live near the beach. I told her I would visit when the Iguanas are falling out of the trees from hypothermia. My wife and I are driving to Florida in ten days to visit the family and see what Florida is like. Glad to hear it’s still cool.😎👍
Where a headed?! Florida is very diverse and it’s easy to get lost is the concrete here these days. True locals still know where to find the real Florida. Gotta admit, I’m the opposite!! Hahah I’d rather burn than freeze but I’ve done my time in Northern California and England so… I appreciate the cold sometimes too.

Just put a china heater... i does that years ago and never regreted it, it heat up the whole t2 in less than 5 minutes. Me and my wife love it and we doesn't need to isolate the bus anymore.
Waking up in underwear, with the right temperature inside and snow outside is the best feeling.

Looks like a fun time with all the other VW Buses. Love to see them all grouped together :) We're heading out in our '68 Campmobile for the big Silvarado VW only campout next weekend in CA. Should be about 300 Buses in attendance. Great video, great tin top camper you have :)
