Altweiberdonnerstag in Germany/Belgium, and basically the same tradition! Our "Mutzen" look more like the donut holes from the first recipe, just a bit bigger, I was like "heyyy I had those today!" when I saw this ^^

for the 15 min donut u can also use a mixture of flour and greek yogurt and baking soda it gives amazing fluffiness
Flour- 100gms
greek yogurt - 50gms
baking soda- 1/2 tsp
the yogurt is acidic which activates the baking soda and makes your donuts rise u can even let the dough rest for a while if you still have more time in that 15 mins getting a way more softer doughnut and fry it like usual and drench it in cinnamon sugar which Joe showed or a mix of icing sugar and milk/ heavy cream. ratio of icing sugar drench 1:2 one part milk or cream 2 parts sugar eg: 1/2 cups milk + 1 cup sugar
The last one is amazing the last recipe is very unique
