    Currently own a Vsett 10+, and your channel/content is one of the main reasons why I'm getting a Nami as my "big boy" 72v scooter. Great content, and seeing you navigate around a gigantic city like NYC is awesome.
    Keep up the great work.

      Hi Terry. Thanks for watching the video and the kind words, I truly appreciate your support. I got chance to ride a buddy's Vsett 10+ and I must say it's a joy to ride. It reminded me of the Mantis 10 i started with. Quick, nimble, and is an absolute blast! I hope you enjoy the Nami Burn e as much as I do when you get it. Out of all the beast scooters I've tried, this was the only one that presented a complete package. FYI it's terrifying at first, but its very manageable to learn out the box. After a few miles, I'm sure you'll be on X mode flying down the main roads lol. I finally have a referral code for Fluidfreeride and it's in the video description. If you'd like to use it, I believe it will give you an additional $75 off what ever promotion they're running.
      I'm happy that yall are enjoying seeing this amazing city I've been blessed to live in. I've got some ideas for new routes when the weather gets nicer so stay tuned! In the meantime, safe riding on your Vsett.

      You, and a couple other channels have shown me little tips and loopholes riding around on a 40+ mph scooter. Watched a couple of your videos when you where hitting well over 50 and was like holy shit, lol.

    I still can't figure out why I enjoy watching your rides, but I do! I'm not sure how you're recording the audio, but it's typically extremely good (although that damn music in the background drives me batty!) There was almost zero wind noise on the rental scooter, and it wasn't too bad on the Nami even though you said it was windy and you were doing 40+ mph. Great job!
    Even though I'm extremely close to ordering a WK GT (I'm waiting for a window of time when I know I'll be home to receive it, probably order it next week), but I still love the E 2 Max. I'd get the Nami in a heartbeat if I wasn't so concerned about the higher speed stability. I know I will routinely ride at 45-50 mph, and it seems to be the general consensus that the WK GT is way more stable at those speeds. But the Nami is so sweet otherwise!

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching the video and welcome back! It took a few months to dial in the placement of the mic to be able to capture the best audio. It was a pain trying to balance wind noise, breathing, and voice quality! 😂 My bad about the music. Trying to find the balance over the last couple of months.
      Have you tried the suspension adjustment that Electric Scooter Guide mentioned in a video they made last year? Ever since I raised the front and dropped the back per their suggestion, I’ve been really stable at 50-59 mph even with my damper on the lowest setting. Try it out and let me know. The WKGT is cool as hell too so I think you’ll enjoy both! Very different riding experience.

    Welcome to Moped life for a few moments lol. You were doing all those turns w/no signal 😬 (b4 that major left turn). The Revel is a NIU NQI Sport from 2021. Limited to 30mph(50CC class equivalent). The 125cc version goes 50-55mph respectfully. Like I said priority, I’m a 🛵 & 🛴 guy! I wanna get into e-bikes 🚲next! 🤙🏾

I noticed there was a switch half way to FFR 😶‍🌫️. Thanks for the insight, I’m completely new to the world of mopeds. The 125 sounds like a lot of fun but is overkill for the city. I also get that Revel don’t want idiots killing themselves doing 50 in the city blowing through lights so they stuck with the 50cc 🫣. I would definitely rent it again!

      Yeah those are the older models (Motor: 60v 1800W) that’s why you didn’t feel much UMPH! The newer models are (Motor: 60v 3000W of power)! 😆

    Hey eyebahn, enjoyed the vid. How much did the rental scooter cost for the ride. I'm curious why you have/bought the super 73 and the nami. I put tire pressure monitors on my phantom because i got tired of checking the pressure and i once got a flat and didn't know until i got home. The tpms cause a little wobble at about 35 mph but checking the pressure is so easy and quick. Did you try the anti fog spray for your helmet? The rental scooter footage was cool.it was funny how you wanted to cuss a few times but caught your self. Bless

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Michael, thanks for watching! The moped cost me about $16, I put up the receipt at 11:50 in the video if you want to see the distance and time I rode. The Nami I bought because I couldn’t stop thinking about how good it was after I test rode it. I even sold my Mantis, a scooter that I LOVE, to help fund the Nami! As for the S73, I wanted a pedal ebike that looked good and that wasn’t in that “legally gray” area that some of the hyper bikes are in. It’s just a more chill way of navigating the city. I love the ebike but I may be getting something less “motorcycle like” and more “bike like” in the future. With the way things are looking in my building and in the city, a sleeper ebike might be the best solution going forward.
      I tried an anti fog spray from Amazon and it helps quite a bit! Just a pain to have to reapply it every so often. As for the low tire pressure, I usually drop the pressure in the rain to get more rubber on the road for traction. I check my pressure before every ride so I probably wouldn’t use a tpm. I have tried them in the past, but like you, the wobbles freaked me out and I never went back 😂.
      Hahahaha im glad you caught that. As a New Yorker I tend to cuss quite a bit, but we’re trying to keep it PG13 just incase kids are watching 🙏🏼

      Hi Steven, thanks for watching. I’ve seen them happen. It’s in the back of my mind but I’m not concerned. As a person who works in the sale of high end mechanical products, I can confidently say that people aren’t giving us the full story on what lead up to the steering column failure. Since it’s quite rare, I need to know how much abuse that Nami went through with that specific rider. The reason I’m skeptical is I’ve seen more Namis make it to thousand of miles/ kilometers without incident than those with failures. I personally treat my Nami with care and have experts do proper maintenance so I’ve had no failures on my scooter the last 1800 miles.
      But at the end of the day this is just my opinion lol. I’m not saying that it doesn’t happen, I’m just saying I need to know the full story because no matter how good a scooter is it can’t compensate for rider error.

      I've seen the few that have happened and to be honest it's in the back of my mind but it doesn't worry me.
