Many of you say you'd buy a dirt bike but understand this... You could never ride your dirt bike around town or late at night at 50+ mph QUIETLY. Then fold it up and put it in the back of your car. Not even a suron can do that

Do not ride through standing water like that. Nami’s are water resistant, but they’re talking about light splashes (ie rain riding), not standing water. Trust me on that.

I came across a few puddles in ny when the snow melted because you know ny is famous for Pot Holes. And that alone messed up my rear motor and the management excuse to not replace it was I ran it through snow and salt. In my mind I’m like I live in New York!!! You said it was splash proof and rain proof but I guess it didn’t apply for ny owners. So I had to come up with all sort of service fees and buying a whole new motor.

55 mph..wow, what a little rocket... makes so much sense for a city commute, even suburban for that matter when it will do over 50 mph.

These things are incredible. I get extremely nervous going above 25mph on a scooter, I can't imagine going 50mph. That being said, Nami is one of the best brands for high-end scooters on the market. Best quality, performance, and price, IMO. This model is more than I can handle. If I ever decide I want more speed, im going for the Nami Klima model, or go all out and get the E Ride Pro E bike for 5K.

$4-5k could get you a new 250ccish Honda recon or similar. I know its apples to oranges but damn not a chance id pay that much for an electric scooter.
It is very cool but doesn't seem all that practical. You could probably buy a decent dirtbike with the same footprint with the exception of a longer wheelbase that's more capable..
    Seems like a niche product

For me it's perfect. I'm traveling all over the country for work 90% of the year. Can't bring my vehicle but we have a work truck and tool trailer. These little things fold up and can go in the trailer or truck bed, and I can keep it in my hotel room. Plus, since I'm not paying for the room, I can charge it up and have literally free transportation. Beats driving around in a big old flatbed work truck all the time. A lot of areas in cities just aren't meant for work vehicles when you're just driving around on your lieseure time.
I can drive around on sidewalks and bike lanes, or get up to speed and keep up with traffic.

Totally get what you say, even as a EV driver myself. I have the feeling it depends on your needs for a vehicle and where you live. I am pretty close to a bigger city in Germany and for commuting this is one of the best possibilites. Because traffic in the morning and after work is a pain with a lot of stop and go, our public transportation is hot garbage and driving to work with close to no stops, gliding over streets and cycling lanes is just so chill. And with our electricity prices atm I pay 21 cents for a full charge that gives me 42-50km of range (FYI: German electric scooter have been strongly limited in their power output and max speed due to regulations and I cannot wait until we are able to ride Nami's and Co. on the streets).

gotta be licensed with the bikes which is a pain. scooters don't need to be and they're faster off the line than a 250cc. I don't want to register anything. Unpack and zip away. It's the way we all should be living but unfortunately gotta go through all these rules and regulations. The scooter is a powerful machine where one can escape some of those rules.

Not practical? Comparee to a dirtbike youre saying this thing is not practical?
Try thinking for just a moment.
It can do almost 60mph into the wind, it can go almost 100miles at 30mph into the wind, it weighs as much as a mid-large sized dog, it requires little to no maintanence, costs almost nothing to run, it's silent, it fits anywhere a person fits, you can put it in a small car.
      Should i keep going.
Accept it, dude, scooters arent g@y anymore.

      @dcxdom 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

Plus depending where you live, you can ride it on bikepaths and sidewalks. Completely bypassing all traffic. Thats one of the main reasons i bought one. That and not wanting to pay for insurance/gas @@blastfromthepast7119

5500$$ thats really decent e-bike range. This thing looks amazing. But if I have to chose between a scooter or a bike. Bike wins every time.
So so me it seems like that's a pretty niche market. Cool review.
