Its much brighter than mine, during the day its much more visible. Mine is more noticeable when there's not as much light out hopefully this clears it up!

Looks good, I have a 2005 Tacoma as well but with different projectors. I got my LED bulbs at HeadlightRevolution. I'm not sponsored by them in any way, but their quality is much better than other places. I recommend it, check it out if you'd like.
I got mine in around 11/2020 for a '08 Tacoma. Took a while to figure out wiring, however the hazards on the headlights don't work unless I have the ignition key "on" position. Have you encountered this issue by any chance?
There’s another review on TH-cam which shows the exact steps to wire everything properly. Shouldn’t be an issue with only working on ignition. Did mine yesterday on an ‘09 with factory DRLs. Let me know if it helped!
Im curious on the beam pattern/brightness and also if you upgraded to LED. thinking about getting a set but not sure I want to spend the extra 250 on the LED version if it doesnt make much difference.

For the alpharex headlights? I think they are indeed very nice I do know that there are 3 options you could purchase. The pro is with the Halogen bulbs, the Lux and Nova are with the LED bulbs! My cousin is really satisfied with his! I think they're really great headlights these headlights came out after I've purchased the headlights I'm currently using right now I kind of wish I bought these instead to be honest! But I really love the headlights I have right now as well!

Hey Ay! Yes my cousin did end up buying the day time running headlight adapter because his Tacoma didn’t come with day time running lights, so he also purchased the hardware for it. It was fairly easy to hook up! LED bulb wise I believe we should be able to we both plan on changing out our bulbs soon to LED! I’ll take a video about it when we do! Hopefully this helped!

these are the pro series, coming set with halogen lights. only the luxx and nova series which are full LEDs do a light dance when locked/unlocked with the key fob

We didn't run into that issue to be honest. It just took us a while to figure out the wiring but once we did that it worked just fine!

Hey bro are those the right headlights in the link u put because when I click on it in the description it doesn’t say they are sequential headlight
all 3 variants of the 05-11 headlights have sequential turn signals, only the top 2 variants have the sequential activation feature

Did you guys find a wiring diagram for these headlights? I’ve been having some issues with mine and I believe it’s wired incorrectly.
For the wiring, we ended up having to watch a TH-cam video on how to wire it! They didn't give my cousin a diagram for the DRL
