@@tremblai It's so nice you have that option! I wish more places did but it's much harder to find the "legit" poutine elsewhere ;) Do you live in Gaspésie?
I have had poutine in Victoria BC, so I’m not sure if it was the best since that is far from Quebec. I love the concept, though! What’s not to love about fries, gravy, and squeaky cheese!? 😂🤤😋 I live in Washington state, so it will be an expedition but I hope to try it in Quebec one day.
@@aliwins We definitely share the "what's not to love?" attitude about poutine. 😂 That's cool you had it in Victoria. I've never been there! It looks so pretty. Washington state is beautiful too. The colour that pops up in my mind is green. I remember it feeling lush. What a lovely place to call home!
The drone work on this video was superb….! It added to my appreciation of the covered bridges immensely. Also…..Great to see it used as a proxy for your hike up that big hill….Enjoyed the view from the top! Plus…..You got curd that SQUEAKED! Those that know……KNOW!

When I was 8 yrs old in 1986 my family had a family trip to the Smoky Mountains in TN. We were coming from a flat plain, South Tx coastal city. Seeing a cool weather mountain area with river creeks is so eye opening. Have family ancestry of Rhineland Palatinate, and kind of makes me think is similar. ❤ Happy prayers that no one got hurt from recent flooding from last few days in 🌲 Gatlinburg and Virgina. Reminds of W Europe floods from last year on this anniversary...though not as devastating 🌹🕯🕊

SO glad you approve of this poutine stand - I couldn't agree more that these are really the best places and one of the best parts of a road trip...you never know what you'll find along the way! Your drone shots are beautiful! The first one of the church top and then the little cemetery with the chapel were my favorites! Great views! I would definitely try the poutine....but would like a little different variety. Not a cheese curd fan....
Hi Pamela! I'm happy you enjoyed the drone shots! So nice to be able to get a bird's eye view like that. That's great you'd like to try poutine! Cheese curds are a very important ingredient so it might be tricky but maybe you'd like the combination with gravy? It's best with SUPER fresh curds that squeak (hence my excitement at that in the video 😂).
Finally watching this. I didn't realize another video would be up & available so soon after the one from yesterday morning. That was SO MUCH FUN to do again, after a few years from the Istanbul video premiere done back then. Loved the covered bridge scenery shown in the video. You know you're true Canadians to love poutine so much. I really loved the drone shot of you both waving from inside the really red-painted really long covered bridge shown near the end of the video, going out to show the water and other amazing scenery of the river & trees and more.
PS, the architecture of that walkway near the end, for where you had to send the drone up to check out the views was VERY cool. Such a bummer you & Marc weren't able to go up to check it out in person. Hope you can come back along that way to do so, perhaps on the return trip if possible.
Thanks again for coming to the premiere this morning! That was fun. Glad you enjoyed the drone shots of the bridges! I loved those too, especially when you can pull back and see so much more of the wider landscape. Very pretty and idyllic feeling.
