From a Canadian living in Iraq, who misses poutine...thanks for this.
Watching it from India.. it's like torture for my belly to watch this. La poutine à Pauline will be amazing when I go back
While you're in Montreal you might as well do a smoked meat sandwich episode
Jack Simmonds YESSSS I AM FOR T H I S
"Man I'm really craving poutine, I wonder how I can get my work to pay for it?"
This guy and the host of Hot Ones are so similar in their mannerisms its amazing.
When this quarantine is over please get Delany to do this again. I need more of this content.
No you don't NEED this
Alex is so cool and his style is so minimal and classic. I love it
*Alex: *Says “Ree-shard” when talking about Maurice Richard.**
*Alex 10 min later: “If you’re from America and you’re gonna get slaughtered on the internet for saying anything French, you can just call it “the ‘Ritch-erd.’”*
Alex is a total babe. More videos of him please.
Wow that’s sound so gay no offense
@@wisccheese9257 obviously, duh. Now get over it. no offense
Christopher Stone aren’t u gonna re edit your commit
@@wisccheese9257 Nope! why do you care so much about my comment? Have you got nothing else to do in life?
Christopher Stone why are u getting mad, and yes I’m busy helping out for my cousins party
These theme songs for every episode are incredibly entertaining! I just want the folks who put the time and effort to know we appreciate!!
Albino squirrel? Should've gotten more camera time!
I think it's leucistic because the eyes are dark.
So cute! I'm going to Montreal this weekend, from Toronto (I go once every year or two) and I'm definitely going to look for an albino. 😍
Parc Lafontaine has 2!
Fun fact: Olney, Illinois is the “Home of the White Squirrels” 😃
@@ilizhof That's so cute!!
I looked at the title and thought it was a SORTEDfood video
Same! I got a notification for ba and when I opened it I was like wait this sortedfood then again I was like oh it's ba.
@J D lol why diseased, theyre pretty funny tbh
@J D your life is so negative.
@J D bye
@J D or maybe they just didnt know that BA did these videos? like damn ma is it that serious
14:07 Jon Snow has an off season job as a waiter
im glad that im not the only one who noticed that :,)
me too
As an ex-Montrealer may I say very well done! You correctly identified Belle Pros and Lafleur as the duds and hit up all the right places. Bonus points for starting at Green Spot and getting in Martin Picard’s heaven on a plate despite disqualifying it for cheating.
Depends on which Belle Pro you go to. The one I go on Sherbrooke in Tetraultville is really good but the one on Hochelaga isn't
@@stuartmcnair2783 yeah the bellepro in tetrault is good and le petit québec too
I love that the one that was number one was still in that foil take away thing. The way I always think of that life blood of a good night out.
Never put foie gras on a poutine, it's just bourgeois cruelty, and never pay 24 bucks for a poutine either haha
I'm also surprised that Poutineville wasn't on the itinerary. But they all looked so good, now I'm definitely craving one!
I know right.
And she was really snobby too. Byeeeee girl
Foie gras is very cruel for sure. Agreed. Also I wish I could try poutine (I am in the third world)
La poutine du pied de cochon est divine!
That's only US$18. Not bad for a whole meal topped with a big slab of foie gras.

Squirrel: So you ain't gonna share bro?
I know it's a bit late, but kudos to the editor and cinematographer, they make these even more pleasant to watch
Thank you for doing this. Much love from a Montrealer. You did a good job on naming the spots in French.
Try Maine's lobster rolls for next episode?
you mean Boston right...
@@tazmon122 Maine is the lobster capital my man.
tazmon122 Maine is the capital but Boston is also very known for lobster rolls
@@batman81022 my man, the best Maine lobster is in Boston, the best Rhode Island crab cakes are in Boston, the best Connecticut pizza is in Boston.....and well.....NH has fireworks i guess....but you can even get the best Vermont ice cream in Boston.
If y'all want to get real technical the lobster roll was invented in Connecticut. So sure Boston makes them too. But the best lobster and lobster roll you can get is in Maine.
I see Alex, I click.
AS A MONTREALER, POUTINE-LOVER-TIL-DEATH, I can say how much this truly made my day
The reason why some cheese curds are not squeaky anymore is because they have been refrigerated for too long. You need to keep them room temp for them to stay fresh and delicious, which also comes with the fact that you need to serve them fresh, made the same day.
Uh chef there's a patron saying their cheese isn't "melty enough"
Chef: What the tabarnac is this melty??!
O.o... Tabarnak.
Yay.. Finally showing off the poutines from MONTREAL...
Heading to la Banquise.. he made me want to eat some POUTINE!!😋
As a Canadian, this just made me want a poutine more than anything! Thanks
Yesss
ilr im hungry
Same and the bad part is I currently live outside of Canada 😭😭😭
7:06 - A buddy of mine once said that a good poutine should sound like wipers on a car windshield inside your mouth. That's the second time I've heard that, haha.
Bring this show back
Really upped the P R O D U C T I O N V A L U E on this one. The sound effects. The transitions. Great video as always!
Oh yeah, love it when my city is shown on a famous channel. Plus, you chose the best spots! Great vid man
Costco has the best poutine idc what y’all say it’s amazing
'Ma Poule Mouillée' is by far the best poutine in montreal. It's a Portuguese poutine with chicken and chorizo and it's heaven on earth.
I know I Know.. it's not the ''classic'' but tabarnak it's delicious.
I treat poutine in the same category as pizza. If you want the classic poutine experience, sure, get a plain one with gravy and curds. But I don't spit on any garnishes added, they just make it better in my opinion. One of the best poutines I've had was covered in delicious chicken strips.
Good things come from straying from the classic sometimes. In the city where I live, half the shawarma places make a shawarma poutine, and its glorious.
First, as a Montreal (Montréalais in French), I gotta say that you nailed this episode. From the places you chose to the scenery, everything was great. Second, congrats on your first choice : CHEZ CLAUDETTE HAS THE BEST POUTINE IN TOWN! I've been telling this to people for years. Thanks for helping me spreading the news ;) MERCI!
watched this back to back with the first alex eats chicago dog video in the series, i really love how much the editing has improved and talking more about the vibes of the restaurants along with the food! keep up the good work yall are making me hungry. if you ever come to louisville ky maybe an episode on hot browns would be neat!
Wth I’ve never seen a white squirrel in my life, i had to go look it up😂😂😂😂 apparently they are really rare and uncommon, something like 1-2% or all squirrels are white!
In that particular park, they are EVERYWHERE! (Par Lafontaine)
Bruh 1.5% ain't rare, that's more than 1 in a 100
Brandon Mclellan I recently saw one while out on a walk!
It had evil eyes and intentions... 😱😆
I wish this series could be more frequent between episodes, but I guess it would be too much for Alex's health to binge eating more often. I'm just glad that this series continues~
Come To Germany
You could eat The Classic Schnitzel
But I would recommend doing 11 Döner in 12 hours
Yesss! Döner kebab is the ultimate fast bite after a night out. 😍
11 Schnitzels in 12 hours...Yikes. I think currywurst in Berlin would be a better show. Also Schnitzel is not really German
@@Gart5 yes but curry and doner definitely are
You are standing in front of the Orange Julep! I can't believe its not on the list! Their poutine is so good!
Definitely the best and i’ve tried them all
I’ve even heard of that place and I’m in Toronto!
Best orange juice!
hearing him saying those french names with a very nice french accent does things to my heart
14:11 uhhh there's two pigs getting it on on the decorative plate....
Hahahha, a friend of mine in MTL has the same decorative plates
im in love with him he’s so sweet and uh just nice please i hope he’s happy forever
I think you missed Costco Poutine hard
Memez Boi true the fries are so crispy and delicious
@@xxbeansxx7568 Costco fries are the bomb
The fries are nice but the gravy is weird it's too americanized
Memez Boi dude costco poutine fucks
Someone said it! Their cheese is cold and their gravy is grainy and their fries are so bad!!
We need this series back please
