My guess is it just creates randomized results for each league, perhaps weighted by the team overalls. This is why you can't "see" the match results or stats from other league. There are no matches. It just spits out table results. If you ever track a league you're not playing in, you'll notice the table keeps changing in ways that don't make sense. Like one week Man City will have 18 wins, then the next week they have 15. Or United go from 8 losses to 6. It might also explain why when you changed everyone's overall to 1, certain teams in some leagues still tended to dominate. It's probably coded like that. Disappointing tbh that they put so little effort into these things. Would be great to be able to see everything going on around the world, like Football Manager.
There is an Asian Champions League on the game with clubs from China, Japan, Korea, Australia and Saudi-Arabia. I guess only the USA and Mexico aren't involved in any international competions. Even their national teams are automatically qualified for the World Cup.
Usually when they get to 18 they ask to be promoted into the first team and if you don’t they terminate their contract. So I don’t think you can have a player older than 18 in your academy
I know a good challenge. Put the best players at every position and put them in a team and sim many seasons to see how many trophies they’ll win. Make them younger to make it fair
