    My oh my. The video is from 2012 and NOW I finally realize to use swiffer sheets to solve one of my major problems.
    Plus the card is pretty, of course - and some great other tips! But that was definitely my highlight.

    Gina, you and your videos as well as your amazing products will always have a very special place in my heart. I think that your Stamp TV videos were the first I watched, and definitely it was a Stamp TV video that taught me how to do the wonderful cracked glass technique, it was so easy to watch and DO on my own as a beginner. I have kept many of your Stamp TV kits and I continue to buy your products, and just ordered your latest kit plus a large container of your glue. I was THRILLED to see that one of the two large stamps in your kit has a similar feel to the Tapestry stamp set in my favorite of your Christmas kits, I cannot wait especially to play with that stamp and the whole kit! Your heavyweight colored card stock is my ultimate favorite, unfortunately, living in Canada, I don’t have access to it, but when we can travel a little easier again, I hope to be able to go across the border and pick up an order of a bunch of your colored card stock. Your products have absolutely stood the test of time. My very first cling rubber stamp set was by Melanie Meuchinger, and later I bought the dies, I bought some stamping blocks from you as I had never used a cling stamp set, how times have changed!!! But your products, your tutorials, and your work has absolutely stood the test of time. I enjoy watching you and you are someone I admire as a talented teacher and card maker, someone with integrity and kindness. Thank you for helping me back when I started, and I appreciate how you continue to teach me and you keep stunning me with your products and ideas. Thank you for simply continuing to be YOU!
    If you are watching this video and don’t know of Gina K Designs and her wonderful products, especially the great quality and value of her kits, DO go to Gina K Designs and look at her latest offerings and see if this kit is still available as a kit. The value of each kit is over double the price of each kit and you will pull out these products again and again and again. I cannot recommend her products more! Gina K is one of the very best, one way to see this is how she is so admired and respected by the very best in this field of which she is most definitely one, and it’s also very clear how much her designers and her colleagues enjoy creating and spending time with her. Gina is someone I have always been able to trust, and THAT says a great deal!!! Thank you, Gina, for all that you have taught me, I look forward to learning more from you, and I continue to love your products!!! If you could ever bring back one color, it would be your Vibrant Violet, I have never been able to find a color even close to it. I also lamented at the loss of Green Apple some years ago. I do wish that if a color is going to be retired, and I understand that it has been out of your control, I wish that we could have known about it, as I would have bought a number of packs especially of the Vibrant Violet, but also with Green Apple.

    Thank you so much, I am so new to this I am working with borrowed supplies. My friend who loaned me the supplies didn't remember the technique to make the glitter stick either. I was ready to scrap the idea of using glitter on my Christmas cards all together after an entire day of failures trying to get the glitter to stay stuck to my watercolor paper. Thank goodness I found your video.

      @KiwiJane1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Learama ws. , when I first started doing embossing in the early 90s, I got some embossing powder that has glitter in it (still have some), so I was thinking that it’s possible to mix embossing powders and glitter. I certainly have enough of each to to experiment with, which I will do soon. I learned about the dust cloth trick from Jen M a while back and think it’s a great tip!

    i watched a video on how to make your own anti static bag all it is pretty much is talcum powder inside a stocking (person in video used a knee high stocking) and you just stick the powder inside the stocking wrap it over itself a few times and you have an anti static bag! pretty cool!

    In addition to the pledge dusting pads & swiffer pads, used dryer sheets work well for a substitute embossing buddy (tried once when I misplaced it) and also for clean up. Plus it allows reusing! They are also great to rub on clothes that have static cling-

    Thank you for such an informative video. An awesome card. The first time I tried this it did not work for me. I have a Marvy embossing gun but it is at least 20 years old and just blew the glitter right off my card.
    Yesterday I purchased a new embossing gun called Heat tool, and the project turned out perfect today.

  • @2legit64
    @2legit64 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I've always wondered if I could mix the glitter in with the embossing powder while both are still in powder form. I would do this if I plan to make a lot of cards using the same technique. This way, I'd only have to use the heat gun once. I'll have to try it, however, I have a feeling that the glitter probably wouldn't adhere to the Versamark like embossing powder. I've, personally, mixed embossing powder colors to like red or green with gold for a cool effect on my Christmas cards.

    Gina, what a awesome presentation style you have and super technique. So I would not duplicate comments I read below my thought and replied to Dominic what my experience has been. What I CANNOT FIND is if you can use embossing powders on white stazon opaque/white ink! I see how to use it on everything from paper to metal but do u know if it will hold fine glass glitter, for example, then take heat gun to seal? Thank you for great videos-very professional (I'm a corporate Trainer so I hope that helps make my opinion carry a little weight-lol!)

    • @juliel6254
      @juliel6254 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Sheree, I think some embossing powders have glitter and some don't. If yours do, then i don't think you would need to add glitter. This video was made 4 years ago, so maybe the glitter embossing powders were not on the market yet? I'm pretty new to this, so I can't say for sure.
