What if the condensation from your beer transfers to the screen and causes massive uncontrollable feedback and eq setting changes??? Does it have a screen lock?
Hi Sweetwater, I have set up my DL1608 with a password but I cannot remember the password is there a default reset to connect to the WIFI. please let me know if I can reset the Mackie DL1608. Thanks Leylan.
@@anu.wwilfred5442Yes you can, but if you want to disconnect the the iPad from the mixer and use it wirelessly, then you need to connect an ethernet cable to the router and then list the IP address.
can i control the aux channel independently from the mains? we set up the 1608 with the aux channels for the wedges.when I adjust the main mix it effects the aux channels.
Hey, Tim. Thanks for checking us out on TH-cam. The DL1608 can work with a standard copper wire snake or XLR cables. It is what it is designed for and will work perfect. As with any snake there is always the chance for interference, but by keeping it clear of other cables and power lines you should be fine. With the DL1608 you can run it with the iPad via wifi, or with that model specifically you can plug in the Apple USB cable and hardwire the iPad to the mixer for a better connection. This mixer allows you to save the session??? The 31 EQ for main outs can be used sepparately?? I mean, one for R and one for L. The FXs could only be reverb and delay??
Ben, can I make a specific channel pre / post fader. I need channels 1-10 to be pre fader on all aux and channels 11 & 12 to be post fader on all aux. Is this possable?
Edson Simpson is the same fader but you have the options of the subs, mains, and effects.. just tap on one of them and you’ll have the volume control of each individually..
What about something smaller like a 4 track for duos and trios? I dont wana lug a 16 track to all my gigs. Also - Android is techically better so whens that version coming out because if I drop my ipad screen I cant mix the gig that night where as the android will keep going and even be able to hold my beer for me.
