Multitrack through USB? Might get this to use with my MPC, can anyone confirm it will work?
Hey Vertigev, thanks for the question! The Mackie Onyx is designed to be a multi-track interface for Mac and PC. While the Akai MPC series is designed to work with class-compliant USB interfaces, the compatibility is hit or miss. There are some very thorough forums that have talked about which interface work better and worse with the MPC here:

It looks very bad and cheap, as Mackie does since many years now, unfortunately. I still use my old Onyx 1640I, great knobs (not like those cheap plastic ones)& mine still works great. I sometimes use the mackie console in a practice room & it doesn't sounds really great, it sounds like how it looks. I'm sorry but they don't built it as a tank as they did and the 1st generation of Onyx was the last of strong series they did

¿Los canales stereo tienen el L como señal mono y estos canales también se graban en el multitrack usb?.
