    Hey tronics, I have a couple questions for you.
    I got the blue lite and I'm looking to replace the white buttons with the black ones as well as replace the Analogs in it with the new updated analog sticks (That supposedly don't get the drift.)
    The buttons (minus the DPAD) appear to be exactly the same as the buttons for regular joycons so that won't be hard to find but my I don't know where to get the updated analogsticks? I was going to do it all at the same time while I had the console open.
    Another question is the DPAD the same size as the DPAD in the pro controller? I don't have calipers to measure them but I know you do if you don't mind checking that out to let me know.

    "Sort of" is what I was thinking. I was more wondering if it would be one solid board that the screen connected to. You can separate one "joy-con", but too bad the other is literally part of the main board. For repair purposes I wish they BOTH could be removed and replaced.

  • @AstralPhnx

      @jsjuhbdn 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      How so?

    • @AstralPhnx
      @AstralPhnx 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jsjuhbdn Well the resolution is the same but the screen is smaller which results in more pixels per inch but the actual screen just seems to be a much higher quality panel. It's very bright and colourful and there is also much less of an air gap between the plastic shield on the outside of the console and the screen itself which results in less glare overall and just an overall nicer look. It's kinda hard to see the differences on video but put a Switch and Switch Lite side by side and the difference in screen quality is pretty apparent

      @Conzpiracyzero88 My guess is it will be worse.
      The current spikes seem to be able to make it through the power control circuit.. and it used to be that the weaker chips was the gpu. It makes sense as it is the most power hungry chip... and it acted as a fuse.
      Now the next chip to act as a fuse is probably the main cpu with integrated gpu...tine will tell.

    I have a question. The electro screwdriver you used in this video, could it be used for model train maintenance? I have it on my wish list on Amazon as well as a soldering mat like the one in your video, it was a suggested item. I’m just compiling a list of tools and such I’ll probably need when I get started with my layout.

      I would think it would work but I've not used it for that so I can't say for sure.

    Hey I am having an issue and could use some input. Had to replace the RIGHT joystick on my gf’s switch lite and in the process of the repair, I accidentally broke the clip for the ribbon cable for the fan off (and cannot locate it)
    How would you go about remedying this issue?
    I assume I have to have the clip pressing down on the cable in order for the fan to receive power. Could I just replace the clip (if I were able to find any)? Or stick something in there to push it to make contact?
    Thank you so much for the input!

    4:58 or repair shop can scam you by using the old cheaper analog stick. Unless you repaired it yourself. My brother phone camera modul was replaced, he went from 23mp sony to a regular 8mp, even the software only reads 8mp.

    There does not seem to be a single video on youtube on soldering a USB3.0 Type Micro-B port (replacing it), its the one with 2 halves to it and one half can be used for USB2.0 if needed. This is typical on USB3.0 portable hard drives like WD My Passport. Can you make a video on how to replace this port?

    I don't know if that's possible: but can you change the usb-c port in the switch lite and replace it with the "normal" switch's port and see if it docks? I heard the new port in the lite version only charges so maybe if you change it you can dock it... I don't know tho

    Hi, news around the world are pointing that Nintendo didn't fix the analogues on the Switch Lite. From what I've seen from your Switch V2 tear down, the Lite seems to have the updated analogue sticks, but could you clear this out ? Thank you.

    Did it work after putting it back together, specially with the old part?
