We loved Kings Landing when we went a few months ago. It was definitely a challenge going up stream. I loved the end of Emerald Cut. Great place to hang out!
The emerald cut was a beautiful paddle! We took the SUPs a couple weekends ago and really enjoyed and will definitely be back! It is fun to sit and watch the Canoes and kayaks go through!

Beautiful! Being from the north it amazes me (anxiety😉) watching you enter the water as I suspect alligators everywhere there.... not having lived in the south.

This is a great paddle and parts are absolutely stunning. It can get stupid busy though, and almost no one out there knows what they are doing, which can be a little frustrating trying to navigate around people.

Saw an ad for this on insta and went to TH-cam and saw your video on this place. I’m sold. Doesn’t look as populated as I’d think it’d be. Did u guys go early or a slow season? I can imagine this place would be packed in the summer.
When they reopen the rental and return shuttle at Jupiter springs I think that would make a good video. When I called in they said they will start back up sometime at the end of the summer but they dont have a specific date.
*If you were to go right now They allow you to bring your own kayaks and go but they dont allow inflatables so you guys would have to rent and no shuttle yet so youd have to find a way to get 8 miles back to your car.
I was here early December 2022 and the people behind me saw a momma bear and her cubs! I was floating down river and heard a lot of noise on my right, but never saw anything myself.
Oh, and a heads up. They do not take cash for the rental. He said only a credit card. I rented a kayak when I went.

Are you using an inflatable kayak? What brand is it? And are there any problems with shrubs, and thorns and edgy wood and rocks?
Is there a way to do kings landing and also go to kellys park n enjoy the lazy river there in one day . ..if u were to park in kellys n pay ..but thne leave to go kayaking at kings ..will they not let u back in after you are done?
How far is the kissing tree once you go that direction from King's Landing launch?
Do you suggest a day paddle or shuttle run? I’m not afraid of a little exercise.

not on the emerald cut side...if we had gone to the right after launching (the shuttle run side) then yes.
