My very first time I attempted a 300 stitches across double crochet blanket…. I got 7 rows in and quit…. I was 7 and didn’t have the attention span to do 300 double crochets over and over lol…. Then at 14 I tried again and made a gazillion granny squares…. As a result I now can not stand granny square projects at 41 lol…. That being said…. It was fast enough to keep my attention and with the different designs I was able to learn nearly every stitch around…. From there I did hats, blankets, baby blankets, baby dresses…. Then I went into clothing and finally amiguarami…. And now I pretty much only do clothing and plushies exclusively with a handful of other random designs here and there as I feel them…

I practiced swatches for SC, DC, HDC, TRC. I did granny squares. My first official project was a bikini bra with black yarn 😬
