      It worked great for short runs mainly 20 minutes at a time. When I tried to run it consistently it had some reed issues. I ended up going to a gas compressor. The video is up on my channel. Hope this helps!!

    Maybe I missed it but what kind of time can you get out of that battery before you have to recharge while snubing?

      This is a solar 100 amp hour battery. I’ve have used this on my high banker all day long and it still had plenty! I use it on my camper for a week running lights. This thing will last all day!!

    Thought it wasn't advisable to use a oil type compressor?

    • @ancellsadventures
      @ancellsadventures  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s not my compressor is oil less. You never want to use an oil cooled compressor for diving!

    I have been wanting to do this...the biggest concern I had, was with Teflon from the oil-free compressor. Is 5 micon filter good enough for Teflon filtration? Been researching this. Thanks for the video your attention to air quality is great.

      Edward I’m not sure to be honest with you. That’s the best filter I could find and I’ve seen them used in other systems. Teflon was my biggest concern as well. I will add that this worked exceptionally for about two hours but with non stop use one of the reeds broke loose from the piston and couldn’t keep up with the air demands. After disassembly and found out what it was I looked into new options. What I’ve built now is a replica of hookah max’s gas powered air compressor. I’ve yet to try it out but I got the idea from Gigmaster who is also on TH-cam and uses one every summer without any trouble. It’s roughly $500 to build but significantly cheaper than hookah max’s $1200 price tag. I plan to do a video on it soon so keep an eye out for it. I hope this helps you out and thank you for subscribing!!

    how did you hook up the wiring

    • @ancellsadventures
      @ancellsadventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just hooked the hot lead directly to the battery and used the negative through the pressure switch back to the battery.

    Hi how much deep you are going

    • @ancellsadventures
      @ancellsadventures  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Snuba rig is only for depths of around 10’ or less for me in most cases I won’t go over 5’. It’s just easier than trying to use a snorkel while gold dredging
