That information on the Hooka's , might just work for me next year. I have always wondered about hardware that could do just what you have. Thank You !!!
"SNUBA" is a registered trademark owned by a great group of well disciplined entrepreneurs that have worked very hard to build out a great enterprise. Recreational Surface Supplied Diving is a terrific solution for shallow water exploration; thank you for supporting this emerging sport.
Are you able to send / /post some photos of your water sifter? Especially a side-photo showing the sifter's corner profile, please. Also, where did you buy the plastic screen? Thanks
who did you buy the hose and regulator from and how much did it cost you for the hose set-up?? I have a hookah system and need new hose thanks for the great vid
$1 a foot is for Pneumo house. Pneumo hose is a smaller air hose used in commercial diving applications to get water depth and other thing. It is safe to breathe out of.
Hey gigmaster. Love the hookah setup. I will be looking into getting one myself. I run the excalibur 2 as well and love it. And one thing I have noticed is that you will loose a target say like a coin or pull tab or even a ring when you dig the target and it moves from laying flat to standing on its side. Like a nickel if you stand it straight up the excalibur has a hard time detecting it. So next time instead of assuming you lost the target dig one more scoop out of the hole you were digging in. You might be surprised!
Hey does anyone know a good air intake filter to buy? Or the one that he uses on the hookahmax. The filter that is attached to the end or the air intake snorkel for the compressor.
NO! It has to be oil free i do know that. I just got an exact replacement so i do not know if there are any other specs required. I do know intake has to be away from the exhaust. May be other factors.
@@Gigmaster is that what you have? @chris llias it's not the exact one he is using in the video, but it's oil free so you are good. I would wash the tanks out with simple green first and every 4 or 5 uses. Do this by removing the drain valve on the tank and a funnel add close to boiling water and a cup or 2 of simple green, slosh around than drain. Put the plugs back run till dry. This will remove any impurities from manufacturing. I also do use a 3 stage filter on mine but that's just me for additional safty. As he said the big thing is keep the intake side high and away from exhaust, also if needed add a filter, I used a sponge and paper filter for a painter's mask.
Ha ha it's running a pressure reg valve to operate the throttle by demand ,less demand the tank fills up and shuts throttle down a touch ,more demand the tank empties and throttles more ,most elec compressors have them to switch off if no demand to save over pressure ,just need to run a cable from the presure valve to the throttle
@@Gigmaster Sorry mate, it sounded like you said it came with the air intake mounted down low, HookahMax would never do this, this unit is high quality, but that's what i thought you said.
What is the advantage of having a surface air supplier versus traditional scuba tanks? In other words is it worth spending $650 if you already have scuba gear?
Gigmaster If the gear I have now breaks I'm decaffeinate going with a surface air supply system. I'm also uploading a civil war relic hunt right now, love it if you checked it out!
This is the very reason why people get hurt on home made surface air diving compressors. The blue electrical air intake pipe is made of pvc plastic that is NOT MEANT TO BREATH FROM HIGHLY TOXIC. The silver filter is installed backwards and will not work properly. There is no water filter separator installed anywhere. That over the counter compressor contains several air fitting parts made from LEAD. Please don't try this yourself if you don't know what your doing. Stick with the professionals IT'S YOUR LIFE.

Great idea, I haven't seen those before. Would be a great way to hunt a lake on a pontoon boat. Might look into that.

E. Fifield Came from Hookamax. The hose is hard to find without going through them.
You can build your own hoses for about a $1 a foot at Bay-Tech rentals.

will that compressor run more than one hose, or limited to just one.............good luck out there......we got some breeze
He showed the three hose connection for just that. Said Harbor Freight or Northern Tools has them.

I use similar system for about 25 years and i'm still alive. Doesn't kill you. Just put a filter inline. Change everytime you see it dirty.
