I’m really interested in the rainbow palette (especially when compared to the viseart one). I also am interested in the makeup brushes, the spectral palette, and the setting sprays.
Bite beauty really shot themselves in the foot with their rebrand a couple years ago. I used to be a regular for their multisticks and the agave lip-mask but then they changed all the formulas to be worse!

Oh, I'm not at all surprised by the Bite Beauty news. They made several of my ride or die products - and once they reformulated them, they weren't ride or die anymore. I know a lot of people who felt like that. 🤷🏼♀️ If you're going to reformulate and change what people don't like, you need to come out with some really stellar new products to make up for it, and I don't think they ever managed.

Got the Cosmic Brushes palette after almost two hours trying. We broke the site, but I must say their CS is really great and they handled the situation really good. I cannot wait to have it in my hands. LH palette looks interesting too, but I can dupe it in my collection. Maybe I will get it some time. CP pink palette looks really cute and fun but not for me, but I have to admit it's beautiful.
I'm not a neutral lover, but can kind of see the vision of the Urban Decay pallets. Small neutral pallets, one pinky nude, one olive and one warm for different undertones. People with different skin tones need different neutrals. I just think they should have made a couple deeper ones and that they had marketed them as neutral basics. Like I said before I dont usually wear neutrals, but i do see the value of having a small neutral pallet that matches your undertone and is curated for your complexion.
Cowboys in Texas are further east and north than Austin, Dallas has a big market square where they bring cattle through and stuff. Next year come to Houston for the rodeo that's a good place to see cowboys too.

I appreciate that people want and need affordable options for makeup, but i can not support Shein or SheGlam. They have a habit of stealing designs from legit artists (particularly PoC artists), and not giving credit or compensation. The YTers Minsooky and Salem Tovar have done videos going in depth about it, and they explain more about what the company does (there are so many horrible things that they have done beyond plagiarism) and why it is so problematic.

I agree with all the Kiko collections looking the same and they kinda do bore me as well . But I have a Kiko store in my city and I found some nice things there: brushes, tried a cream blush from them 1st time and it's amazing ^^ The coloured eyepencils are great too.

I feel the same, I wanted to try the viseart quads but didn't think any of the colour stories truly made sense. Except the purple, but it's very basic, like my CP Lilac 9-pan.
The Oden's Eye release is so freaking gorgeous I CAN'T! I'm on a no buy for the summer so it's going to be hard to hold off, but I probably will get things after the summer. I also love the new Linda Hallberg release, her palettes haven't been for me so far but this could be my neutral palette, I would LOVE a dedicated review or a GRWM with the palette!
I would love to hear your thoughts on back ups. I do have a back up of my favorite lipstick as I thought I lost it then I finished it and they discontinued it so I got another one. I agree lipsticks are usually a bad back up but there are exceptions.
When I saw the CP cowgirl palette I immediately wanted to buy it even though I have a million neutrals and don’t wear pink eyeshadow because I’m a horse girl. But I’m not the western, flashy type of horse girl. I wish that brands/people would realize that there are more sides to horses than just this.

I got the cosmic brushes palette, it has already shipped out. I'm so excited for it! They had some trouble with the launch because they were not expecting the amount of traffic they got. But they handled it well in my opinion. I can't wait to see you use that palette! The color story is stunning!
Would love to see Sheglam review! I am very intrigued by this new Skinfluencer balm and how it compares to the newly released Wayne Goss, Danessa Myricks and Basma Stick Balms - and maybe compared to the Monika Blunder balm too, because these are som much more expensive than Sheglam :-D
If you have the extra money, I'd recommend the Viseart Etendu Violette instead! It has the same pink and lilac mattes, a very similar deep matte and some fantastic shimmers/satins. It is one of the best purple palettes on the market. If you can get it on sale, it shouldn't be too much more than the quad, but gives your twelve shades instead 🥰
I'm kinda not too pleased with Benefit scrapping most of their existing blush shades, since Gold Rush is my absolute favourite blush ever (I bought a backup, though, in full size, so now I've got enough to last several years), but the new shades are really pretty. I can't use Dandelion as a blush, either, and I have really fair skin - I can get away with using it as a setting/finishing powder, though.

I would definitely like to see you try the rem beauty concealers. I am 42 and also have crinkly under eyes. I got one of the highlighters from that brand and I really like it, I even bought a second color.
I would really love for benefit to come out with more highlighter, I love them but cookie and tickle are both a bit dark for me. I would LIVE for something as intense as cookie but a lighter undertone!

You deserve having the weekends off, especially after moving across the world. Moving locally is stressful enough. There are so many things to do in Central Texas for day trips with Ricardo, such as winery tours around Fredericksburg. Cowboys can be found at Dixie Dude Ranch near Bandera, when you go for a horse ride in the wild.
Just a heads up, there were 5 quads for Viseart ... in the lower right corner of the promo pic, there's a yellow quad. It blends into the background; I almost missed it, too 🙃

I bought some stuff from the new Kiko Milano collection. I agree that it's al the same, collection after collection. I love their blushes and bronzers (but it's basically the same three colors again and again!!). I was smitten by the lipsticks this time around though. Yes, again, similar colors each time, but the embossing this time around is gorgeous. There is a glossy formula (very similar to the Huda glowy lipsticks) and then there is also a waterproof/transfer proof lipstick. This made me very excited!!! I have natural corpse lips (pale - I look dead!!!) so I like to add color without looking overly made up. Usually I do a long lasting liner with something on top. But whatever I use on top usually wears everything down quite quickly. So yay! Longlasting and not in a liquid formula?? Worth trying inmy oppinion!
The all I ever wanted 1 is what got me into unearthly cosmetics. After I got that I ordered like 3 other palettes from them. I really want the gel multichromes first though because I've been making multichrome liners with duraline and the nikkia joy multichrome pigments but it wastes a lot of pigments and its messy.
The purple viseart quad looks much deeper in photos than it does in Morgan Turners video with the quads. I figured I'd let you know so you could watch that before deciding if you'd like it or not.
I ordered the Nabla Serum. I too don’t like dewy, but this seems to be more of a grip/plumping thing like the NYX Plump Right Back Primer but with skin care? I’ll let you know. I also loved the the looks on the models… for science!!
Ugh, being from Texas my whole life, a lot of us hate that stereotype. 🥴 we are no different than anyone else and an aversion to stereotypes. Cowboys are here, but they aren’t that common. You could find them more in Montana. That said… that palette is cute 🤩
I totally understand your stance on fast fashion, I haven't been able to phase out all fast fashion brands myself, but I do try to buy less. However SheIn is the absolute KING of fast fashion! They are the epitome of all the things that fast fashion is known for. I highly recommend watching Justine Leconte's video on it, she is a fashion designer and gives an in-depth review of what makes the brand unsupportable.

I totally agree with what you said on KIKO I’d like to buy something new from them but they release the same product in different packaging besides their eyeshadows. But I find that their shadow formula is just meh

Never bought eyeshadow from Kiko, but they are my go-to for gel liners, budget lippies and everyday blush colours. These are not the limited collections, but the stuff you'll find in-store on the regular. Their liners in particular have beautiful pigmentation, last for hours and do not irritate my very sensitive eyes 👌🏻 When I think drug store staples, I think Kiko. The one limited collection I loved was the fruity one from a year or two back (time has no meaning since 2019 🤣). It came with a bright coral neon and a deep swimming pool blue liner. They were so beautiful and unique, I went back for spares. No regrets about that! I'm still using them.

The Half Magic lip cream is actually really nice. It's more a K-beauty texture like those Jaclyn ones that came out with her blush collection. The purple highlighter makes a beautiful blush/blush topper.

I would love to hear your thoughts on back ups. I do have a back up of my favorite lipstick as I thought I lost it then I finished it and they discontinued it so I got another one. I agree lipsticks are usually a bad back up but there are exceptions.

When I saw the CP cowgirl palette I immediately wanted to buy it even though I have a million neutrals and don’t wear pink eyeshadow because I’m a horse girl. But I’m not the western, flashy type of horse girl. I wish that brands/people would realize that there are more sides to horses than just this.

I got the cosmic brushes palette, it has already shipped out. I'm so excited for it! They had some trouble with the launch because they were not expecting the amount of traffic they got. But they handled it well in my opinion. I can't wait to see you use that palette! The color story is stunning!

If you have the extra money, I'd recommend the Viseart Etendu Violette instead! It has the same pink and lilac mattes, a very similar deep matte and some fantastic shimmers/satins. It is one of the best purple palettes on the market. If you can get it on sale, it shouldn't be too much more than the quad, but gives your twelve shades instead 🥰

I'm kinda not too pleased with Benefit scrapping most of their existing blush shades, since Gold Rush is my absolute favourite blush ever (I bought a backup, though, in full size, so now I've got enough to last several years), but the new shades are really pretty. I can't use Dandelion as a blush, either, and I have really fair skin - I can get away with using it as a setting/finishing powder, though.
Where do I find cowboys in Texas? 😂 Try the stockyards in Ft. Worth. I live near Austin and it's certainly not here that I've ever seen..😉

I would really love for benefit to come out with more highlighter, I love them but cookie and tickle are both a bit dark for me. I would LIVE for something as intense as cookie but a lighter undertone!

You deserve having the weekends off, especially after moving across the world. Moving locally is stressful enough. There are so many things to do in Central Texas for day trips with Ricardo, such as winery tours around Fredericksburg. Cowboys can be found at Dixie Dude Ranch near Bandera, when you go for a horse ride in the wild.

I bought some stuff from the new Kiko Milano collection. I agree that it's al the same, collection after collection. I love their blushes and bronzers (but it's basically the same three colors again and again!!). I was smitten by the lipsticks this time around though. Yes, again, similar colors each time, but the embossing this time around is gorgeous. There is a glossy formula (very similar to the Huda glowy lipsticks) and then there is also a waterproof/transfer proof lipstick. This made me very excited!!! I have natural corpse lips (pale - I look dead!!!) so I like to add color without looking overly made up. Usually I do a long lasting liner with something on top. But whatever I use on top usually wears everything down quite quickly. So yay! Longlasting and not in a liquid formula?? Worth trying inmy oppinion!

The all I ever wanted 1 is what got me into unearthly cosmetics. After I got that I ordered like 3 other palettes from them. I really want the gel multichromes first though because I've been making multichrome liners with duraline and the nikkia joy multichrome pigments but it wastes a lot of pigments and its messy.
I'm interested in that Cosmic Brushes palette (which I'll probably get) and one or two of the Benefit blushes.
The purple viseart quad looks much deeper in photos than it does in Morgan Turners video with the quads. I figured I'd let you know so you could watch that before deciding if you'd like it or not.

I ordered the Nabla Serum. I too don’t like dewy, but this seems to be more of a grip/plumping thing like the NYX Plump Right Back Primer but with skin care? I’ll let you know. I also loved the the looks on the models… for science!!

Ugh, being from Texas my whole life, a lot of us hate that stereotype. 🥴 we are no different than anyone else and an aversion to stereotypes. Cowboys are here, but they aren’t that common. You could find them more in Montana. That said… that palette is cute 🤩
I totally understand your stance on fast fashion, I haven't been able to phase out all fast fashion brands myself, but I do try to buy less. However SheIn is the absolute KING of fast fashion! They are the epitome of all the things that fast fashion is known for. I highly recommend watching Justine Leconte's video on it, she is a fashion designer and gives an in-depth review of what makes the brand unsupportable.
Absolutely agreed!that video is really informative and even if I already had no real interest in shein/sheglam after watching it I 100% for sure won't buy anything from this company, ever!
I totally agree with what you said on KIKO I’d like to buy something new from them but they release the same product in different packaging besides their eyeshadows. But I find that their shadow formula is just meh
I actually liked the ones I tried, but others say they don't, maybe they have different formulas for different launces. The 6pan ones have been good.

Never bought eyeshadow from Kiko, but they are my go-to for gel liners, budget lippies and everyday blush colours. These are not the limited collections, but the stuff you'll find in-store on the regular. Their liners in particular have beautiful pigmentation, last for hours and do not irritate my very sensitive eyes 👌🏻 When I think drug store staples, I think Kiko. The one limited collection I loved was the fruity one from a year or two back (time has no meaning since 2019 🤣). It came with a bright coral neon and a deep swimming pool blue liner. They were so beautiful and unique, I went back for spares. No regrets about that! I'm still using them.

The Half Magic lip cream is actually really nice. It's more a K-beauty texture like those Jaclyn ones that came out with her blush collection. The purple highlighter makes a beautiful blush/blush topper.
