Hi Angie! I'm the artist for the Night Life palette with GiveMeGlow and I've watched you for years as I'm also a lover of makeup! I'm glad you like the look of the palette! I believe the planned launch is end of July, and we also have a part 2 being announced soon which I feel like might appeal to you! Would love for this to be your first GiveMeGlow palette! But you do you!! X x
@@bakaturtle_art you should be so proud! It’s amazing. It’s rare that artwork on a palette influences my purchase, but this! It’ll be my first purchase from the brand. I’m super excited. 💚💚💙💙 again, congratulations 🎉
I actually hate the PMG formula but I’ll buy another Mothership when she releases one without a gold. So…never? Lol. Pinks and golds are NOT what I would ever associate with “moonlit seduction”. I’d expect a dove grey matte, an amazing sparkling straightforward silver, a lilac-silver duochrome, a midnight blue…
I am lucky enough that I live in a city where the Sephora sells PMG in store. I would recommend if you do want to buy one of her Pallettes. To see which Sephora store near your area sells it. And swatch it in person. Now as far as her new Pallette, myself and so many others who follow Pat. Said the same thing, she has not come out with anything new or exciting for her Mothership Pallettes. And we are all so bored, we want something new to get excited about. This is not it.
Pat McGrath’s mother ships specially the first ones are more colorful and out of the ordinary with great shades and more colorful her last 4 mother ships have been so similar with slight differences that seem repetitive
Right, I have divine rose 1 and 2 and I feel like I have most of these shades. Buuut....I still kinda want to see swatches and comparisons of the new one.
Yes, the PM palettes all look the same now, even the packaging. When I first found your channel, I was so happy you didn't feed into the hype and the ridiculous price! You are real and honest. Plus, you and Nikki Raven, Bad to the Brow, Beauty and the Frizz, all introduced me and showed me that Indie brands are 💯 better and more affordable than these brands that are only expensive because of the name and/or creator. I did break down and buy some PM palettes (NIB from PoshMark and/or Mercari) and I am so happy I didn't pay full price.
I picked the candles up from Target yesterday. They also have smaller ones at $5 each, which is what I got. Scents I picked up on are: Lucky Charms - I smelled vanilla & marshmallow. Trix - I smelled vanilla & a hint of fruitiness. Cocoa Puffs - I smelled vanilla mocha. Honey Nut Cheerios - I smelled vanilla and a little bit of sweet cinnamon. Cinnamon Toast Crunch - I smelled mostly cinnamon. So basically they’re all based in vanilla, which I like. The strongest smelling ones are the Cinnamon Toast Crunch and the Cocoa Puffs, although I haven’t lit any of them yet so I don’t know how the throw will be. They’re fine, not fantastic, but fine.
As always on point, I agree about Pat McGrath. A video suggestion you mentioned PM was not your favorite eyeshadow formula could you do a eyeshadow and blush videos were you talk about your favorite formulas for eyeshadow and blush. I am newer to your channel and would love to see that.
I agree about the Pat McGrath palette. When I saw this revealed, I was so disappointed. Why can't she include like a deep navy or purple, maybe a brighter pink.
I need Pat to release a Mothership palette of all her transformative shades, SERIOUSLY! Now that she has 10, her next palette can be a celebration palette where she takes her blitz astrals from every palette and puts them in 1! I'd bathe my body in it 🤣❤️(which is what I thought the cover art for the Huetopian Dream palette was going to be since it was so colorful 😐)
She's not ever going to do it, so u might as well spend that $120 at Terra Moons, Clionadh, Devinah, Shine by SD, and JD Glow. Beauty in the Frizz (who's a big fan of PM), just did a vid duping every Mothership special shade. She also just did a vid on a what she wished Mothership X would be ("DivineEarth"), which was gorgeous.
@@ac2055 yeah, I saw her video and I loved the idea. I still want to dream though lol. Some of the shades she used, I liked. Some I didn't. If I were to try to make a 10 pan palette myself though, it would be more than $120, especially with shipping. I've tried lol. Maybe when holiday sales come back around though, I'll try again.
I so appreciate your NMRs, it's such a fun thing to track trends❤️ As a half-Chinese person who grew up in Asia, bubble tea has been around since the 80s in Taiwan. The chewiness and slippery texture of dark sago pearls does bother some people, but going milk-free and skipping all 'toppings' is an option. There are many aromatic tea options (unsweetened); frozen fruit pulp; even interesting floral notes from jasmine petals, chrysanthemum and rosebuds. Hope you enjoy experimenting with the flavours.
Good morning Angie, hope you’re able to get some rest this weekend. I agree with you regarding Pat McGrath. My gosh same color palettes I’m so over them. Please don’t spend your coins on my behalf for this 😊
I agree, don't spend your money just for some of us who want to see what PMG looks like. They can go to a ton of other sites to check it out. This is not your vibe, Angie. We love you for YOUR favorites that's why we all gravitate to your channel. Sure PMG face products are the "shit" but buy what YOU love!!
I would have to agree: Pat McGrath has done at least 7 of these colour in one way or the other. I feel she makes the same palette again and again from her own preferences: Love for pinky roses, gold and taupes. And as you have said yourself before, if you want to run a makeup company, you have to make products for others - not yourself. I mean, most makeup enthusiasts would make products from their own makeup esthetics, colour scheme and preferences the first time going in. But at some point, when you have set your footprint in the industry, you have to shake it up a bit and do something different. 😉 Love and light from Denmark, Scandinavia ❤️
My boyfriend loves taro milk. I actually started drinking boba since 2007, after a few years the boba industry was bloooooming in China. Then I got bored of it, then everyone start loving it. Now it's basically in every corner in the world. It's nice to relive the memory.
Angi I’d soooo much rather see your review of the GiveMeGlow palette than the Pat MacGrath palette!! GMG really nailed it with the color story and artwork, and I’d love to hear what you think of the formula as I’ve never tried it either 💚💙
The lisa eldridge lipsticks are amazing, the colours are soooo saturated and vibrant even when they are muted, its like your lips entrr the room before you...
On a more serious note: I LOVE that you are always honest. I watch you for years and you inspire me to come out of my comfort zone, wear more colour (I secretly love it but am a bit shy) and you are always honest! And that makes come back everyday 🤗🙏🏻 It's not that I always agree with you, but it's so refreshing to hear your opinion and your point of view of things. That being said, I often agree with you too and you make me feel safe enough to share when I don't. 🤗 Sending love and thank you for all of your hard work ❤️❤️❤️
There’s a lot of options with boba- you can get teas without milks, like herbal or fruity teas. You don’t need to get the tapioca pearls either! I like getting the little jellies or popping bubbles
I rather you get the new GiveMeGlow vs the new PML and post a review 100%. PML has released a lot of similar stuff - I would love to see her do orange or green or just any new take on a color. I can imagine you much happier making awesome blue looks. Get some rest and stay well!💕
I think the Nomad palette and the Violet Voss palettes are the palettes of my childhood dreams (maybe minus the black and white shades in the Violet Voss). I've ordered the new Glaminatrix palette, though, and I have a lot of other palettes and others on my wishlist, so I'm trying to hold off on buying more or even adding to my wishlist. The Nomad might make me cave, though. It's so pretty.
Repeat after me Angie: It is okay for me to take a break. It is okay for me to slow down. The reason it is okay for me….I deserve it! 🧡 P.S. It is pretty impressive that no matter how busy you’ve been, you still give us quality videos. So we are all getting the quantity AND quality out of you. Which is why I say you deserve to slow down. Put that energy into taking care of yourself. We are both the same age. Flying over to Cali then immediately back home takes a toll in and of itself. Bouncing back from that when we were 20 was no thing but now, in our baby 40s we owe it to ourself to take time to just literally rest. 😴
I'd be 100% more interested in the DM pallette over PMG...Her releases seem so much more interesting/artistic/unlike what other brands are doing. For luxury prices, I want to be *excited* when I open the dang thing!
Boba tea enthusiast here! You can always get fruity teas or smoothies at most places if you don't like milk teas. Most milk teas use non dairy creamer so it sometimes can taste a little odd (some places say fresh milk to indicate they use real milk). My favorite is iced lychee or mango green tea w boba added. Hope you find something you like!
I totally agree with you on PMcG. I initially thought this was one of the recent rose palettes she had previously released. The olive greens would have been fabulous in this palette!
For the cereal candles thing, I buy wax melts from Porcelain's store, and one of my favorite scents is fruity pebbles, so I really could see those being nice. :)
Omg Angie Please get that Givemeglow palette They are my favorite indie brand and I have over 100 of their single shadows and palettes. Trust me you will love it
I love taro milk tea! It has no tea just yummy taro goodness (like a purple potato) you can also get fruit teas that have no milk in them. Those taste better with jelly imo. If there’s lychee jelly on the menu get that.
I was looking if someone already said that there's bubble tea without milk too xD I personally love the popping boba. Also I struggled with the extreme chewiness of tapioca for a good few tries.
Angie! There’s actually a bunch of fruit based teas without milk. Just make sure you look under the fruit tea option and as long as their base isn’t a powder, it should be dairy taste free!
For Boba-there are fruit teas which do not have milk. Make sure they aren’t a creme since those are cheese topped drinks. Tastes way better than what it sounds. Anyway, try Agar boba too. It’s like a grape stripped of the skin.
I finally got to try Give Me Glow with the martini palette and it’s one of my favorites. I would love to see you play with this or maybe do a video where you dupe it?
Omg my photos made your video 😭😭😭😭😭 I am a huge fan. I was the photographer working with danessa for those macro finger swatches on her new lightwork 3 palette. I’m so glad you like them!!!!xx
I’m so sorry you’ve had a stressful week! Mine has been crazy, too! My brother has been in the hospital, and I had to make the decision to bring in hospice to help with his care. Times are tough, for sure. Take it easy when needed. We will still be here when you’re ready. :)
I own Limeade and Mermaid Waters. Mermaid Waters is a breathtaking duochrome. It has a really interesting texture. Almost like a microfine glitter and traditional duochrome hybrid. It applies best with glitter glue but the shine - Oh my lord, it's breathtaking! I NEVER use glitters however this is the closest thing to a glitter I use.
Can you do a little video on some Shop Miss A products (not necessarily the makeup but even the brushes and tools)? Since you live in Texas you can go in the stores and grab goodies.
I really want you to try Give me Glow! I think you will LOVE them! If you make an order, I think you would also love the lipstick shade Dirty Blonde. It's just perfect.
When I saw the Pat McGrath palette I was so confused because it looks the freaking same as the other palettes she’s released. It’s ridiculous to release something so similar at that price point. No thanks.
The Give Me Glow palette definitely has my attention, I sat up like a Meerkat or one of the seagulls in "Finding Nemo," Mine, Mine, Mine! I really hope you receive the Give Me Glow palette in PR or you decide to buy it. I need your expertise on the brand and formula 😉
I LOVE givemeglowcosmetics. They are one of my absolute favorite indie brands. The shimmers make me so happy. And I'm not a mattes person (shimmer all the way! 😂), but I even like givemeglowcosmetics mattes :)
HI Angie, I looooove these videos from you!! I am SOOO bored of the Pat M. releases. So far there was NOTHING where I got the hit in my chest "gosh, cannot live without it". And no, not this time either...... *shrug* Wishing you a nice summer!
Cinnamon Toast Crunch is one of my fave cereals as a kid. The Malt-o-meal brand tastes closer to what i remember, but this is still has a special place for me
“Leave me here!” 🤣💀 The PMG tugs at my cool toned heart, but I will wait for the next glitch/sale 😂 I need her to come out with a teal number, ok?! I also hate chewy tea, but bubble tea places usually have some fun creative drinks without the solid bits in them too I was confused why trendmood popped up the cereal candles. The comments section was very interesting, people suggesting indie candle makers that do these scents well. I’m hyped for the Juvia’s palette and will be using my Ulta points on it when it gets there. They honestly needed this kind of launch, they were getting tired. Find some rest this weekend/next week ❤️❤️ I had the same thought about Winx 😂 “ooh season 2!”
I am super excited to see the Primal pallet from Blend Bunny. I have their 3 other pallets and they are beautiful!! I am also keeping my eyes out on that new Julia's Place Garden collection. I own a lot of their products and I have yet to be disappointed. Thank you as always Angie!!! 🥰💄💅💇❤️
Violet voss has an excellent formula, some of their packaging is a little horrendous but this one seems nice. The mini ones are alright too once you see them in person.
You can get fruity boba tea, like lychee or watermelon flavours which are green tea based. I usually like them with the jellies over boba. They are SO refreshing in summer - highly recommend!
I agree100% I do enjoy Pat McGrath eyeshadows, but the last five motherships (this one included) and the two Bridgerton releases were/are all VERY pink/mauve heavy. It’s time for PML to create something new/different. Will I buy it? Probably. But I’m not excited about it at all.
Why would you consider buying something you're not excited about? Not looking for an argument, just a honest question because I simply don't understand.
Yeah... Also, buying PM's stuff even when u don't really like it is telling her metrics that 1) her brand loyal customers will buy whatever she puts out despite if it's the same 2) it reinforces to PM that her customers want the same stuff bc there are no loss in sales to tell the brand to change course.
Hey, Angie... If you do end up picking up the GMG Night Life palette, you should also grab the Bad Witch Club, while you're at it! I think you'd really like it. 😌 Pastel Dreams + Bad Witch Club is super cute, though. And GMG's metallics are my jammmm. They're more like a drier waxy-type formula, so they don't slide around all over the place. But they're also SUPER shiny and pretty! The mattes have a kind of weird texture, if you touch them with your fingers. Like, they feel kind of gritty? But I didn't even notice for the first few months, because I had 0 problems using them with a brush. 🤷🏻♀️
Boba 🧋 can come in a variety of flavors including fruit and more dessert types of flavors, that aren’t tea. They usually have options that don’t have milk too. 😊
I saw the Profusion Bobba tea collection in my Walmart. Everything looks so cute! I don't like any type tea, but I picked up the lip stains because they were too cute to resist. I'm tempted to buy the sponges too lol
I totally agree on the Pat McGrath palette. I have one it's nice but when I saw this one I felt like it's just a slight variation of every recent palette I've seen from the brand. I just wanted more.
I love Pat's new palette as I'm so tired of the repeative greenish orange pallettes that have recently been released. I'm a shimmer/glitter girl, so Pat definitely came through for me! I'll probably won't have to buy another palette for a year thanks to her recent release.
Best Pat McGrath is Midnight Sun (mothership VI), neutrail and colorful, with red, green, orange, gold, silver... that one is a true midnight sun colour story
When I got the juvia's newsletter it made me happy because the few palette have been so much brown and neutral. Nice to see some colour from them again
I am in love with the lip and eye combo you came up with!! So excited to see the Nomad video now. Also, doesn’t Pat know we only wear pink on Wednesdays? Why does she keep making pink pallets? What about orange? I hear it’s the new black.
You can get black tea bubble teas with different flavours! Also really good if you're not into it having milk in it :) I love getting a Lychee or Peach black tea if the location has it.
YES - the Give Me Glow new collection is amazing looking. That Violet Voss is cute, but.. that NYX collection may be better? That Danessa Myricks palette looks pretty, I haven't tried anything from her yet and I love indie brands (still salty w/ Moira). Juvia's Place is hit and miss for me, but the Blend Bunny palette has me intrigued.
Hi Angie! I'm sure 500 people already commented this but here goes...Bubble teas come without milk, you can just get a fruit tea and most places offer add ons like blueberries or mint.....Also, there are different kinds of bubbles too. Some pop with fruity flavors inside (the best imo) and theres the chewy kind with no flavor. Depending on where you get your tea you can mix and match your ingredients or just order from a menu with names and description. I've been tutored in tea by my daughter, lol.
Definitely other flavors for boba. I love boba but dislike tea so I normally will order some sort of fruity blend drink like strawberry orange or mango pineapple or coconut etc. & just add the tapioca balls/Boba 👍🏼 however, I get it- it’s not for everyone but it’s definitely a fave of mine 😊 thanks for all you do, I always look forward to watching these- my week is not complete until Ive watched Angie’s New Makeup Releases! 💜
Pat did do a somewhat colorful palette it was an all shimmer palette but it still had safe colors in it as well but I think one out of ten is not enough variety!
Even if you do it in six months, I'd love to see you try that violet voss butterfly palette. It's also the first one they've done that calls me, aesthetic wise. I'm looking at it like "that's so cute, I would love to try it", when I'm usually like "I like the colors but the packaging could use some work". There's hope for them!
Angie…I agree with you about Pat McGraph’s palettes…….I have 2 of the 12 pan palettes and rarely reach for them. I love her quads and 6 pan palettes .Those I do reach for but then again I’d rather use my ND’s palettes instead…. Start with a quad first if you don’t have any of her palettes……..Judy D
I'm really excited about the new Juvia's place palette. I'm one of those people that really loves the Douce palette. I really like the monochromatic columns. The profusion boba collection is cute but a bit of a pass for me. FYI you don't have to have milk or boba in your tea. Most places offer both milk teas and fruit teas. And you can add or skip toppings or add ins like boba or jellys. A lot of tea shops also let you adjust the sugar levels. I always go for 25 to 50 % sugar just because I crash really easily with too much sugar. Also if you are offered thai tea at a restaurant that makes if fresh it can sometimes be made without dairy. They usually have either lemon or lime juice instead.
I would love to see a review of the PMG palette, only because I am still thinking about which one to pick up for a special occasion one day (and I certainly can't afford more than one). So it's always nice to see people I watch regularly and whose opinions I trust review them, but I completely understand if you don't wanna get it when it's not your colour story, it's so dang expensive!

Repeat after me Angie: It is okay for me to take a break. It is okay for me to slow down. The reason it is okay for me….I deserve it! 🧡
I’d love to see a video showing your favourite indie multi chrome shadows! Those Lancôme lipsticks look stunning 😍
Hope you find something you like!
it’s usually not truly non-dairy, just lactose free (lactaid for example. real milk with the lactose removed).
Did you all notice the new emoji 🧋
@@Corn22 nah it's that palm oil creamer mostly since "coffee mate" is the standard
@@rasvapurkki6294 maybe it’s just the shop i go to then. they use lactaid for whatever reason! kung fu tea
Omg Angie
Please get that Givemeglow palette
They are my favorite indie brand and I have over 100 of their single shadows and palettes. Trust me you will love it
I love taro milk tea! It has no tea just yummy taro goodness (like a purple potato) you can also get fruit teas that have no milk in them. Those taste better with jelly imo. If there’s lychee jelly on the menu get that.
Thanks for the tips!
I was looking if someone already said that there's bubble tea without milk too xD
I personally love the popping boba.
Also I struggled with the extreme chewiness of tapioca for a good few tries.
I really enjoy Give me Glow, and would love to hear what you think about their shadows.
Angie! There’s actually a bunch of fruit based teas without milk. Just make sure you look under the fruit tea option and as long as their base isn’t a powder, it should be dairy taste free!
I want to see Colourpop do a Disney Prince palette. Or a Disney animal side character one.
I agree, if Pat had added muted purples and olives instead of the pinks and golds I would have been all over it!
Profusion Emeralds pallet is really good, and I also like the golden pallet. Love the matt pink and red eye look.
That give me glow pallette looks so good!! And I agree with u 1,000 percent on the pat release!
That new Nomad palatte is GORGEOUS!
Yes! The way it's laid out makes my heart & eyes happy..lol
I wish PM had come out with literally anything but a pinky gold palette. The past 3 have all looked like slight variations of the same thing 🤔
I’ve been waiting and waiting to order a Lisa Eldridge lipstick. Finally did it. Hope I love it.
Oooo the last minute release are neat.. and the gmg palettes cant wait to see what the second one looked like
The give me glow palette looks so good!
I am very interested in the new Blend Bunny and Juvias Place palette!! Hope you try both🥰! That Violet Voss palette is beautiful 💕
About the bubble tea there is a variety of fruit infusions, if you don't want milk teas. I do prefer the fruity ones for summer! :)
I LOVE givemeglowcosmetics. They are one of my absolute favorite indie brands. The shimmers make me so happy. And I'm not a mattes person (shimmer all the way! 😂), but I even like givemeglowcosmetics mattes :)
I’m so excited for The Nomad palette and Blend Bunny palette.
HI Angie, I looooove these videos from you!! I am SOOO bored of the Pat M. releases. So far there was NOTHING where I got the hit in my chest "gosh, cannot live without it". And no, not this time either...... *shrug*
Wishing you a nice summer!
Cinnamon Toast Crunch is one of my fave cereals as a kid. The Malt-o-meal brand tastes closer to what i remember, but this is still has a special place for me
“Leave me here!” 🤣💀
The PMG tugs at my cool toned heart, but I will wait for the next glitch/sale 😂 I need her to come out with a teal number, ok?!
I also hate chewy tea, but bubble tea places usually have some fun creative drinks without the solid bits in them too
I was confused why trendmood popped up the cereal candles. The comments section was very interesting, people suggesting indie candle makers that do these scents well.
I’m hyped for the Juvia’s palette and will be using my Ulta points on it when it gets there. They honestly needed this kind of launch, they were getting tired.
Find some rest this weekend/next week ❤️❤️
I had the same thought about Winx 😂 “ooh season 2!”
The cereal candles are probably great. Goose creek candles make something like that that I always rebuy. Their knock-off lucky charms smells fabulous.
You can get fruity boba tea, like lychee or watermelon flavours which are green tea based. I usually like them with the jellies over boba. They are SO refreshing in summer - highly recommend!
I want that Violet Voss palette. I still love and use my Flamingo palette; it's so good! This could be very nice!
I would love to see a review of the give me glow palette! I know they have a great formula but it's helpful to see the colours in action
For me it's a completionist compulsion, can't speak for anyone else though...
I want the new Nomad Palette!!!
Hey, Angie... If you do end up picking up the GMG Night Life palette, you should also grab the Bad Witch Club, while you're at it! I think you'd really like it. 😌
Pastel Dreams + Bad Witch Club is super cute, though.
I saw that Give Me Glow curated singles pallette and did a double take 👀 I adore the colorstory!
😂😂😂
You can get black tea bubble teas with different flavours! Also really good if you're not into it having milk in it :) I love getting a Lychee or Peach black tea if the location has it.
Yes to the rare beauty lipsticks! I don’t shop from Lancome but those are also so pretty
There are fruity and coffee based bubble teas! They are all amazing. It took me a few tries to appreciate bubble tea and now I love it 🧋
YES - the Give Me Glow new collection is amazing looking.
Would love to see a video incorporating the give me glow palette !!😍😍
You NEED that Give Me Glow "Night Life" palette!! Pleeease! :)
That give me glow palette is calling your name, the colors make me think of you
There is brown sugar boba milk.
They usually have none tea things
Or just have slushies with Bobas.
Love me some bobas!
Thanks for sharing!
You can order any tea, without milk. Green tea Jasmine or Green tea Rose with boba has no milk. And so so so delicious!
I would love you to try one of each of Lisa Eldridge's other lipstick formulas and compare them with each other with your own opinions.
Rosehip Milk Tea with Boba!!!! My all time favorite!!!
Hey Angie , love the video i agree with you on violet voss palette beautiful
I would love to see a review of the PMG palette, only because I am still thinking about which one to pick up for a special occasion one day (and I certainly can't afford more than one). So it's always nice to see people I watch regularly and whose opinions I trust review them, but I completely understand if you don't wanna get it when it's not your colour story, it's so dang expensive!
Alicia archer/kinky sweat makes very comprehensive videos on all of the pmg palettes, though her makeup style is a little different to angeshka's
@@komamangaii231 I didn‘t know that, thanks for the suggestion! Will look into her channel 😍
